Let us just please hope that this thread won't turn into a sequel of the other one. Please?!

Cynthia, you make these boards more than anybody who makes insensitive comments. You too Riggs. I hope that you both don't give the words of an idiot more power than they are worth.

That thread did turn out ugly with algren's comments.Other comments that made me angry was that some posters assumed algren was a christian because he made those disgusting comments when infact algren is not a christian,he said so himself.

You have to figure, with the law of averages, that you'll find 2 or 3 idiots in every random group of 300. For the most part I choose to ignore those people as it's clearly a cry for attention.
Actually, now that I think about it, in real life I encounter a lot more than 2 or 3 idiots out of every 300. So, as a whole I think we do pretty good here at WoKJ.
For every dingleberry I see here I can find 10 outstanding people like Ripper, bABA, rusty, darth pimp, loyalfromlondon, Snrub, Eagle, dolce, Mike V, etc.... (not meant to be an all inclusive list, please don't respond that I forgot you!!! )
My point is, don't let a few idiots get you worked up. Realize they have issues and will have to work those out on their own.

This isn't over yet?
We seriously need to move on. For most, this is America. We were granted freedom of speech. BKB and Algren spoke out. Some may not like the comments, but technically, they are allowed to say what they want. Ignore them. Period.

For Algren, it's the UK. Just saying, I consider it freedom of speech since I'm from USA! USA! =D>

I consider it embaressing, disgraceful, and crude. Algren has some things he needs to work out in that head of his. If he wants to continue living and thinking this way thean so be it, but may god or whoever pray for your soul for the person you are becoming. Its a pity.
Nothing wrong with being against homosexuality, but the way you go about talking abou it. The total disregard for others feelings, and the lack of respect you show to other human beings is embaressing.
BKB argued much the same thing, he seemed to understand that while he felt it was wrong, and while it was against his religion and he didnt understand how or why people would be that way, he at least seemed o understand that homosexuality doesnt make you any less human. He seemed to understand that you owe everyone SOME respect, and he never got as out of line as algren.
Whats the point of warning someone like Algren, that boy needs alot more help than a warning, he needs to open his mind to the world for a second and realize things are not at all like he thinks they are.

And, with that from the administrator...I think we can move on. As Eagle said, it's up to Algren to change his views. No warning or banning is going to prevent him from having those thoughts.
So, let's refrain from making this a "Get in line to bash Algren" thread. Locked.
Any questions? PM 'em.
