 Re: FM's Early Friday Estimates
That should give Cloverfield $50-53m over 4 days, $27-29m for 27 Dresses, and $6.5-7m for Mad Money.

 Re: FM's Early Friday Estimates
Amazing for the two openers. This will definetely be a record January. Also, Mad Money didn't do that bad, per se.

 Re: FM's Early Friday Estimates
Cloverfield is no 300 but still good.
Nice hold for The Bucket List. 100M here we come!
Alvin also held well.
Woody Allen's latest flopped.
How is that for Teeth? Good or bad?

Some IMs: 2007 3.59 STOMP THE YARD 3.17 ALPHA DOG 3.05 PRIMEVAL 2006 3.86 GLORY ROAD 4.19 LAST HOLIDAY 3.07 TRISTAN & ISOLDE If PRIMEVAL & T&I can manage a multiplier of 3something than CLOVERFIELD should do around $55m and 27 DRESSES could do $32m with a multiplier of 3.75 and MAD MONEY around $8.5m... (even though MONEY could have the same IM as LAST HOLIDAY = $9.5m)

 Re: FM's Early Friday Estimates
I don't think Cloverfield could manage 3.0 IM over 4 days with its frontloadedness.

 Re: FM's Early Friday Estimates
I think the number is low. I expect Cloverfield over 20m and it won't drop hard as the WoM is good IMO.

BTW, doesn't FM have a history of not including Midnights?

 Re: FM's Early Friday Estimates
Very impressive for Cloverfield (come on, it's January), and I'm glad to see 27 Dresses do well. Heigl gets a lot of flak, but I like her. So yay for her (and James Marsden, bless him) starring in a hit.

 Re: FM's Early Friday Estimates
I'm sort of pissed that it didn't break 20m, now that it has come so close...

If those hold up, outstanding for both Cloverfield and 27 Dresses.

Yes, he's on his way up. I doubt he forsaw his career taking off when he signed up for this.

 Re: FM's Early Friday Estimates
James Marsden seems like a nice guy - he deserves the success.
Great for Cloverfield and 27 Dresses - exactly as expected. Saw Cloverfield tonight and it was great. Then sneaked into 27D for about 25 mins and then left.
What sort of drop is that for Bucket List? Seems solid.

Outstanding for Cloverfield. How can someone be disspointed with that kind of number, in JANUARY! Solid for 27D, more happy for Marseden who deserves the sucess.
