This is somewhat offtopic, but I guess I can restate my position on this: while I do accept that some young girls get pregnant through sheer ignorance, the majority of abortions are performed by women who are 20 and older. Some of those alos use it as a form of birth control.
In any case, I didn't mean this thread to be a debate on abortion. I'm just really disgusted by what the prosecution is doing.

Then so be it,this is what i was going to say.That i would rather see a woman have a abortion done by a proffesional than to see her doing it in the back of an alley even though i do not believe in abortion and think its one of the worse things and goes against my faith.I just didnt want to say it for fear of being bashed by people who hold my faith and then started calling me un-christian.

Honestly - I have the upmost respect for people that can practice the wonderful aspects of Christianity (and there are some) and disown the intolerant, hateful, and ignorant aspects. It makes me sick that this kind of person would be called "un-Christian". Being hateful should not be a prerequisite for being a Christian.

Yeah, im a catholic and im not this super-stern person who believes all bullshit hes being fed. Im pretty liberal id like to think. The generalisation of catholics and christians in general as being one-track people is so common now a days i dont even notice it.
