The charge is interesting: since abortion is legal, they can't really do anything. SO what does the prosecution do? They still charge the guy with assault.

The truly sad thing here is the fact that the girl apparently felt like she couldn't tell her parents she wanted an abortion. This is just a small preview of what things will be like when W reverses Roe v Wade, except the mothers will die, too.

I'm not trying to glorify (safe, legal, and rare) abortion, but maybe if we didin't have people standing outside of clinics threatening to kill the people entering things like this wouldn't happen.

Abortion should be legal. I have mixed feelings to it morally, but it's more practical to have it legal. If it was rendered illegal, women would just start getting them from shady quack doctors in dark alleys, and we all know what could happen with that.

I wonder,if people(men and women) who want abortions(not including women who are raped) then why in the first place were they fucking if they knew the risk?
Use pills,or condoms.I know that some women have abortions not because they want an abortion but because their fucking boyfriends force them to.

My opinion is that birth control is not as readily and easily available as you'd like to think for a variety of reasons. I wish I could dig up the thread on BOM where Krem and I went on for pages about it. I don't really want to regurgitate it all again.
