If Diving Bell gets a PGA tomorrow, it will sneak in. No Sweeney, no Juno, no Atonement.

Wow, Juno got screwed. 0/3 wins.

I'm in disbelief that the Coen's didn't win. Wowzers. Wow. Wow.

Peace,
Mike

OMFG Atonement? WTF happened here. Why was PTA not nominated for Best Director btw? The Golden Globes sucked this year.

Nice for Duchovny though. I loved him in Californication.

That's funny, but I think that both Atonement and Sweeney will miss the Oscars. It is very much Diving Bell at the moment.

2 for Atonement, 2 for Sweeney Todd, 2 for Diving Bell, and 2 for No Country.

Throw in There Will Be Blood, and that'd be a perfect line-up.

I'm so happy! Julian Schnabel wins Best Director! Atonement and Sweeney Todd win Best Picture! Juno loses Screenplay! Lots of awesome (and big) surprises! (Sweeney Todd isn't really a "surprise" per se, but I still love the win).

Peace,
Mike
