Bought a stake in a vitamin water company bought over by coke for $4b. Aniston banked about $10m from the deal, makes $7m+ a year in Friends royalties, and pulls $10m a film as well as producing work

2. Tyra Banks
Earnings: Over $20m

Producer of ANTM and indeed Tyra Banks Show meant big bucks as both shows continue to skyrocket. Warner and Banks signed a multi-year deal for Banks to produce. She makes over $18m a year.

3. Sandra Bullock
Earnings: Over $30m

As much of a great producer as she is an actress, Sandra Bullock got a great paycheque for Premonition - over $12m, and she also sells her own line of candles and opened a bistro. But importantly, The George Lopez show ended and the syndication rights were sold, making bullock over $30m.

4. Gisele
Earnings: Over $25m

Gisele stands as the worlds richest supermodel having earned over $150,000,000. It looks bigger with more zeros, but the end of her deal with victorias secret, the expansion of her shoe line and the fact that Gisele has started demanding Euros rather than Dollars makes her savvy.

5. Heidi Klum
Earnings: Over $10m

Nicole Kidman
Earnings: Over $30m

She banked $15m for Invasion, and another estimated $10m for The Golden Compass. With income from her past endeavours still rolling in, she continues to play well on the paycheque.

Angelina Jolie
Earnings: Over $20m

Is wisely preserving her commercial clout, but Jolie will only be superfamous for so long, she should start endorsing more widely, even if that would draw her criticism.

Cate Blanchett
Earnings: Over $13m, apparently.

Who knew Cate earned this much? not me. It would appear Ms Blanchett earned more for Elizabeth 2 than we thought. Or maybe she got that Indiana Jones paycheque a little early?

Keira Knightly
Earnings: Over $10m

Keira is a clever girl who could stick around for a lot longer than any of us expected from her first Pirates appearance. It's rare to have an actress this young be so wise in role choice and salary demands.

Jennifer Garner
Earnings: Over $10m
Reported to have agreed to backend % for Juno rather than any sort of tangible upfronts, this was done by the cast of FOUR WEDDINGS too. Her salary for The Kingdom? around $7m. Garner also bought the rights to produce several major chic-lit films, and now has a hefty rooster of films shes producing in the next three years. Reportedly earning upwards of $10m for her 2008 romcom effort with matt mc, such a salary would put her in the big time.

Reese Witherspoon
Earnings: Over $8m

Forbes reports Witherspoon has having earned just $7m in 2007, so clearly the small roles shes taken have also come with reduced salaries, like Garner, Kidman and Roberts.


and the not so buisness savvy?

Scarlett Johansson
Earnings: Over $9m

May be well paid, but at what cost? What credit she lost this year for her awkward Justin Timberlake phase, and her even more awkward Nanny Diaries, a shouldve been hit which flopped and strongly questioned her appeal.

Jodie Foster
Earnings: Over $10m

For the first time, Foster put a wrong foot, by starting to bore audiences with the same-old hokey thrillers. After Panic Room it's started to go downhill. Can Nims Island breakout and redeem her?




Jessica Alba
Earnings: Over $10m

I don't think Alba knows right now that she may be shooting herself in the foot by taking big pay, low prestiege projects like Fantastic Four 2. The little credibility she had built from Sin City has been well and truly blown away. A better paid, less talented Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Oh, and i should mention, my pick for #1 of 2007 has to be Cameron Diaz
she earned more than $30m for Shrek 3 alone due to her share of the backend.
