In my opinion, I don't think there is any question as to whether Atonement is being nominated. It's getting in. It's ability to actually win though is currently fading, and will continue to fade unless it receives a boost somewhere.

Peace,
Mike

Well Mike, there's a spot waiting for you over at the Sweeney Todd club ;)

Your Sweeny Todd pushing is approaching levels of annoying.

It reminds me of the Crash fans.

Hey! I wasn't that annoying when I supported Crash. :|

Indeedily.

Althou I'll admire any man with such hard ability to push that which he has not seen.

For what it's worth, having just watched about half of Atonement... yeah, it sucks.

And that much ballyhooed one shot sequence... it's massively and obviously choreographed. The beats are as obvious as an early Backstreet Boys song, and nowhere near as sexy.

And our relationship was simmering so nicely.

Where did we go wrong Snrubert :(

I have gone from merely not predicting Sweeney Todd to hoping it's snubbed miserably.

THANKS A LOT, LOYAL.

I'm just being deliberately antagonistic. Truth be told, what I've seen of Atonement so far I've quite liked. Though that one-shot is nowhere near as impressive as I was expecting.

Also, that random pic from Crash was meant to appear under Loyal's "speaking of theatrics" post, just so you have a sense of context
