 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
A solid 5th place. Too bad Corpse missed this week, we agreed on pretty much everything so the score would have been about the same with a combined prediction. @ asalem

Congrats to asalem.
Also, this is my 6th consecutive game in the top 20. Anyone know who has the record for the most consecutive top 20 appearances.

Great Job Ahmed. And everyone else as well. I expected to be around 100. 17th is actually quite good.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Congrats Corpse/Omni And you were right Corpse, despite the awful score, I finished at #67. Not one of KJ's best weeks though. Only 4 KJ'ers in the top 20 (Corpse, Omni, BiggestGeek, and Levy).

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Congratulations Omni and Corpse. You have different scores again, though...
Another top 20 for me, which is nice. The monthly ranking looks good so far. Omni is in the lead and four others of KJ in the top 10 (xiayun, DIB2, biggestgeek and myself) with asalem lurking at 12

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Corpse forgot to change Legend from 57 to 56. And to think I was about to make the same mistake but fixed it right before the deadline. Odd and unexpected victory, but it's still a victory.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
One of the most pathetic scores ever, but I still got 62nd place.
Congrats to Corpse on her win, despite having a score that usually makes you mad.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Shee-zus! Nice job Corpse/Omni, winning by far the hardest BO predicting contest in BOM history! Corpse's top score was 70.5, and the second lowest top score ever was Brandon Gray's 78.2, the weekend of November 29, 2002 (3rd wk of Chamber of Secrets, when Treasure Planet and Eight Crazy Nights underperformed). What an anomaly - probably won't see that again for awhile. Only once has the average been lower (at 44.3 vs. this week's 49.1) , the following weekend of December 6, 2002, when Brandon Gray got the third lowest top score of 78.8 and Analyze That underperformed and Empire overperformed.
Will we ever underestimate Will Smith again? He is indeed Legend. And damn, how bout that Alvin?

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Why hasn't BOM updated the Derby yet!?
The new game for this weekend isn't even up yet...with the deadline being tonight/early tomorrow morning. If they do finally update it sometime tonight, the turnout is going to be terrible. It'll already be terrible though. Only the most competitive, derby lovers, will play it. That'd make it super competive though!
Or is there simply not a game the last weekend of DEC!?

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
It's only less than four hours away from the deadline, and there is no game still. If there isn't one, I am not complaining, because it wouldn't hurt anyone.

Well, it doesn't seem there will be a game this weekend. Good weekend for Omni to fall ill I suppose since he was planning to skip this weekend.

Congrats Vov! Your consistency won out. Didn't really have time to make predictions last week anyway even if there were one. So I guess I will try again this year.

9th place for the year. Not bad, but could've been better. Let's see how I fare this year.
