Go Rat!
And yeah, I think Langella can now officially be considered a legit contender.

Re: Beantown Society Of Film Critics
Great for Langella. I was wondering if he had a shot at winning here, as it seemed like the kind of random win they like. Looks like he and Holbrook can be the "Veterans we've never recognized" nominees this year.

Loving this! So many unexpected but, by all accounts, choices that deserve to be pushed.

Also he won the "New Filmmaker" award already, so also giving him Director would be kinda rude-ish. ETA: Nevermind. It appears they really liked Diving Bell, as Director and Picture match 2 out of 3 times with them.

Re: Beantown Society Of Film Critics
I wonder if Janusz Kaminski could be the lone director nom at the Oscars this year. Kinda like Fernando Meirelles at the 2004 Oscars.
Peace, Mike

The Diving Bell has to win foreign, right? And maybe they announce it last because it's really their favorite film of the year.

Big winners here - Diving Bell and Langella. NCFOM and Ryan are also beginning to show signs of massive support. Ratatouille also had a nice notice that SOME people will take it seriously this awards season.
