 Re: Could Juno be an awards sleeper? Juno is going to have box office in it's favor methinks. It'll appeal to adults and teenagers. I know a lot of people my age who are very enthusiastically looking forward to it.

Re: Could Juno be an awards sleeper? My arguments remain the same. The response is enthusiastic, but not overwhelming like Little Miss Sunshine's, Sideways' or LiT's. It also won't have the time to build a fanbase until the Oscars and the lack of a directing nom should hurt it too.

I don't think it'll win, but if it does, it would make perfect sense. All the other films competing for Best Picture are downers.

Re: Could Juno be an awards sleeper? Juno seems like the type of movie where I can see it get nominated for all of GG, SAG, DGA, and PGA and still lose out on an Oscar BP nomination. Maybe I'll change my mind after I see the movie though.

Which is only going to help its chances at the Oscars.
