pretty low number of reviews in comparison with what the Saw movies normally get. Plus according to notfabio's report doing 1/3rd more than 30 Day and Night opening midnight doesnt bold so well for the film. At this rate if it does do like around 25 million, Robbie Zombie's Halloween may indeed be the top rated R horror this year

I see Dan in Real Life's ratio being closer to Heartbreak Kid's, which I projected to be 190 (we never had a final tally). I get a similar vibe between the two films, so I'm thinking a ratio of 150.

A 9-10 million Opening day would translate to a 21-23 million opening week considering the last Saw movie had a weekend multiplier of 2.3. Pretty disappointing

If those projections turn out to be accurate, Saw IV would be lucky to pass $50 million and Saw V would likely fall below $40 million. I'm still going to hold out hope for a $25m+ opening weekend, but it doesn't seem as likely anymore.

3-hour update. Saw IV could conceivably have a ratio around 65, especially since it never appeared on the front page today. While such a low ratio is not common for a horror film, it's not unheard of. With a solid evening pace, I still think it can pull off a $11-12M day.

I see Dan's ratio in the 125-135 range for a $2.25m-2.5M day.

$10m for Saw IV and $3.5m for Dan in Real Life.
