I actually think it will get a nom considering the lack of great competitions. All other acclaimed foreign movies with the exception of House of Flying Daggers and The Sea Inside are not eligible (The Motorcycle Diaries, A Very Long Engagement, Bad Education and Maria Full of Grace)

C'mon, if there is anything the thread makes fun of then that is the everlasting fights between LOTR & SW. I don't see any negativity towards Star Wars in there, it is just a funny bit that takes shots at the whole LOTR vs. SW thing without bashing either of them

I agree :wink: I didn't get upset with that. I can take ribbing about things I like or myself. But personal insults are off limits and will be dealt with a very harsh response.

BTW, I was doing the same (ribbing) with the Phantom in this thread, (a play that I admit disgusts me to no avail after blowing $85 on this garbage, when I was a student). First of all, the title of the thread says everything about my original post in this thread.
