 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Maybe throwing out Random Predix this month would be for the best. Trying to predict The Seeker and Heartbreak Kid certainly didn't work out, and they seem like the types of films that would be easier to predict than most of the openers this month.
Plus, random predix would be really fun.

Plus, random predix would be really fun. That's what I'm doing this week - guessing from my gut. Heck, I can't do worse than the garbage 69% I posted this past weekend.

I wonder if we'll ever have a consecutive Derby winner? The best I can tell, it's never been done.

Yep, our very own matatonio did it once. digital pimp_2 actually won the first two weeks he played. And there are a few others (Brandon Gray, TIMBO, Jason Kaplan, and magicdreamer), but it hasn't happened since Mark did it. Also Scott had a 4-week stretch where he went 1-5-1-5.

Matatonio also holds the record for highest accuracy in a single game, at 97%. Wish I could have a round like that!

Every number looks so logical, every analysis makes perfect sense, and only to realize they're all b.s. by Friday night.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
No word on Omni. He told me he may be back either MON or TUES. But I haven't heard anything from him. I'm not thinking anything bad though. I mean, if I had to have heart surgery, I wouldn't really be caring about getting online anytime soon. So, I'll be solo once again.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
This weekend was the most sure , yet unsure entry I've ever entered. Omni is okay, btw. Just needs some rest. He'll likely be back next weeked.

#8, nice but the regret is huge, since I was tempted to go with 13M on MC and 0.7 on TFS. *sighs* Congrats to Xia, Corpse, Scotty and DIB2

Looks like we don't have to predict Nightmare and Sarah Landon.
Thanks God For That.

Thanks God For That. Yeah - we only have 5 openers to figure out.

Thanks God For That. Yeah - we only have 5 openers to figure out. Blah, I'd much rather predict those two than any of the other 5 openers. NBC has a dedicated and set fanbase, so using the results from last year and tweaking them should mean it'd be easy. And Sarah is an obvious sub 1M opener.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Yes, another outstanding week for KJers - congrats to all who made the Top 50! You know if our average scores are low, many non-KJers have to really be struggling.
