Amazingly, accumulated the same number of points as Pacino, and have 7 top 20s to be ahead. 13 votes total is also among the highest.
And yes, she is the highest female. Wow. Had her in my top 30 but never thought she would show up. Nice surprise

Very much surprised that Jackson could place this high, let alone seeing him stay neck-to-neck near the top and be even ahead before the last three votes decided it. Pathetic.

Thanks Xia for your work. It was a very nice list - until the Top 10 came. That Bogart has only turned up once and Cary Grant not at all is ver sad when Depp and Jackson make the top 5

I sadly had to depart at the end of the show, but great job, Xia and Chris!
It's a solid, though partially expected list. One thing that really took me off-guard was Samuel L. Jackson's placement. I thought he was better in Jackie Brown!

Re: WOKJ's 100 Greatest Performances: Complete!
Things I like about this list: 1. Comparing to the film list, there are more classic performances included (e.g. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, The Grapes of Wrath, A Streetcar Named Desire, Sunset Blvd.); 2. Better and more appropriate placements of others (City Lights, Citizen Kane, even All About Eve although still low for the performance itself); 3. In general a little more unpredictable.
Things I wish would happen: 1. More classics, only one Bogart and Welles, no Grant, and whatever overlap the next point; 2. More females, only one Streep (and way too low) and Bergman, no either Hepburn, Leigh, or Dunaway.
