 Introvert or Extrovert
So which are you? And then you've got to tell us all why, share with the group.
Next time on "Inside the Mind" with Dr Flucks, we look at how a girl who liked pink and barbies turns into a SERIAL KILLER.

actually. there have been studies done that suggest that this type of personality quality is not something you can change. it is deeply embedded in who you are. I mean, there could be varying degrees of each type, but once an introvert always an introvert.
ps - i am an introvert (until I drink)

A Bit of an old contradiction slapped on the end there
Anyway, id say im an extrovert. I can be loud and very abrasive when out with my friends, even moreso after a drink or ten, and i dont really make much attempt to cover up what we are talking about, . I can have a good laugh out in public without caring much and have been known to be pretty loud although im not nuts insane annoying loud like my friend Emma. That said, i can appreciate some people dont like the loud, in your face type, so i try to tone myself down when around people who are especially shy or find us loud opinionated people to be annoying. Theres a fine line between being extroverted and being selfish and dis-respectful, most extroverts have an attitude of "ill say what i want and do what i want" which is imo immature. I try to respect other people's tastes and opinons, and for an extrovert, im quite a laid back guy. But i do get intimidated by some things despite alot of confidence when usually dealing with situations, when im alone im alot quieter, and usually have some out time at a local coffeshop.

I'd say I lean in between them both but tend to be an introvert more so at times. I usualy wait a little while til I know someone a little better before I'm able to rant about stuff.

I would have to say I'm an introverted individual, but sometimes I do things with other people. But most of the time I like to do things on my own, and be by myself. And If I go to a party then I really don't mingle. I'm very shy, and I usually don't talk to anyone unless I know them.

Introvert because I'm always afraid of making a fool out of myself.

Extroverted. For awhile I was more introverted, but the extroverted part slipped out sometimes. Now I just let loose, I don't really care. To quote Donald Kaufman, "You are what you love, not what loves you."

I am by nature an introvert, but I learned to be extroverted to get over some of my shyness. Now I would say I am a good mix of the two.

this turned out to be an interesting thread! You wouldn't expect some people here to be introverted who are. Possibly the internet gives people more confidence to voice their opinons?

But I don't think confidence and introextrovertedness necessarily ahve to be associated.
Like, I just PREFER, am more comfortable keeping more to myself, and I'm just more of a quiet person, which doesn't mean there aren't times when you jsut can't shut me up and stuff...all in all I guess you can say I'm a mix of the two, but I refuse to accept that.
If anything the fact that I go through so amny threads, and consider replying, and up changing my mind and not doing so on here is a true sign of my introvertedness.
That did not make any sense, I think...too bad.
