 U.S. Marshals
U.S. Marshals Quote: U.S. Marshals is a 1998 action thriller film starring Tommy Lee Jones and Wesley Snipes, and a sequel to The Fugitive. The storyline of U.S. Marshals does not feature the character Dr. Richard Kimble; the role of the protagonist has been passed onto Samuel Gerard and his team of U.S. Marshals who pursued Kimble in the first film.

 Re: U.S. Marshals
It's a solid follow-up to The Fugitive, being just as thrilling without copying the story of the original. The story that is in place is a bit convoluted, so it's hard to follow, but the action is terrific. The acting is mediocre, though - Jones is fine, Snipes is bland, and Downey Jr. seems out of it for much of the film. The twist is also telegraphed coming a mile away. Still, it's very entertaining.

 Re: U.S. Marshals
I think its a very good followup, but obviously not on par with the Fugitive. Snipes just isnt as fun of a character, but the team this time is just as good the Stuart Baird is a very good director I always felt. Ford was just awesome in the role, and its a little absurd that its another wrongfully accused guy would occur like this. Where the fugitive would be an A+ and one of the best films ever, US Marshalls on its own is a very solid thriller, and great to see Jones back as Gerard. I love the twist.
