The second season was actually better than the first.

Grr why does the Season 2 DVD only come out a month before the next season starts? I want to know what happens with LaFayette!

I loved every second of the season premiere. It was fast paced, interesting, characters were great... JUST AWESOME! THE BEST SERIES ON AIR IS BACK!

Awesome beginning and the ratings stayed up.

All of Jason's lines were beyond hilarious. The interaction between LaFayette and Tara's mom was awesome too.

Really loving this season two episodes in. Love all the subplots! and we got to se Godric again!

Again an awesome episode. This season kicked off much stronger than either first (which had a ho-hum beginning IMHO) or the second one (which was great, but I like this one much more as it seems like Bill & Sookie weren't a coincidence at all and this could revert a lot of what happened so far which if done well could be great)...

Ya, the clippings of Sookie as a little girl in Bill's house was very creepy. What the heck.

Episode 2 was great though. So many mini-cliffhangers! Jason is definitely becoming a cop, which'll be sweet.

Lorena = Owned! That was hilarious

That felt so random and I was sure it was a dream sequence or something Bill was thinking about doing.

My favorite line of the night - Sookie saying, "I just want Bill to come rushing in my door and say, 'Soookie.' " She nailed it perfectly lol.

Yeah, she nailed it and at the same time managed it to sound pretty funny.

I don't think it was a dream sequence. Bill hates Lorena. Vamp king probably knew that and assumed how Bill would react. This way he can blackmail Bill and make him work for him. Killing another vampire probably wouldn't pass as easy as the first time on a trial.

Good episode, kind of filler though. What's with Franklin? He's a vampire but wasn't he clearly in the sun when he snuck into Bill's house and talking with Tara in the hotel?

Talking with Tara was before sunrise, you could see it was still night when she left. Not sure about the other scene.

Yeah that light coming through the window was weird, but when Tara opened the door it was clear that it was night still, so I assumed that was a street lamp outside. I went back to see the scene when he was going into Bill's house the first time and it was night when he snuck into Bill's house and that was more than clear. I have no idea why you even remember it was day.

Anyway, I thought it was another great episode, not a filler at all like thegun somewhat implied. The plots weren't developed as much as in the first two episodes, but characters were the ones getting a bigger push this episode.

The last scene was wonderfully morbid. I actually wanted Bill to continue to turn her head and finally ripping out her head with blood splattering all over.

Probably the weirdest last scene I've ever seen for a show. The preview for next week's though was quite surprising. The show has built up Sookie and Bill for 2 great seasons and it seems like it's falling apart so quickly and in a weird fashion.

Yeah, its going all Empire Strikes Back on us where all the characters are in separate stories almost. I just don't understand the last scene at all of last weeks.

I know! Unless Bill is conning them all and Lorena, I'm not sure what's changed his mind. His old wife couldn't accept him because she didn't understand vampires, but Sookie does and it's a totally different situation. I just don't get why he started having sex with Lorena.

I thought it was another dream sequence, but just kept going, and then end.
