 Cupid premieres tonight! I'm excited.
To get ready, I've been re-watching the original series on YouTube...I remembered it was wonderful, but not how wonderful. The original boasts a letter-perfect premise (tying the central character arc so perfectly into the "romantic anthology" idea was the stroke of genius), two sizzling leads and great banter that would make the writers of Moonlighting (two of whom worked on Cupid) jealous. I've apparently never gotten over that huge crush I had on Paula Marshall when I was thirteen. If I'm going to miss anything about the original, it's her.
I'm choosing to pretend the remake's negative reviews don't exist. How could Rob Thomas fuck this up? Is it Sarah Paulson?

I'm definitely going to give the show a chance  I never saw the original show but but I think the premise of the show is pretty cool and something different. We'll see... Also Party Down is OKish IMO. Might be hilarious to people who like Curb / Entourage / Eastbound & Down etc. type of shows.
