This show is quite a lot of fun. I've been watching since the second season. It's a good summer replacement for fans of American Idol.

My wife and I love this show, we don't watch any other reality shows at all.

Thankfully we have a TiVo so we just get to watch the dancing and get to skip over any overly emotional drivel.

And just like this current season of Idol, a lot of good contestants they featured in the audition rounds get cut early in Vegas.

I hope Benji's sister doesn't turn out to be as annoying (facial expressions) as him.

Last year, they had a lot of ordinary looking people. This year it's full of very good looking people (which is good, but bah as well). So far my favourites have to be the BGirl, the 25 year old girl who said she was getting too old, Hok and the crazy guy.

Yeah the baby oil girl. I don't like how there are so many people who are related to other people on the show. Benji's sister reminds me a lot of Ashley Simpson lol and Pasha reminds me a lot of Dmitri.

I know! Hair, looks, mannerism... very Ashley.
And the guy that Shane Sparks hated but the others put in the top 20 is "Travis' adopted brother."
I quite like Faina (Stanislav's sister), the chick that fainted.

Spoilers for tomorrow's episode

I can't find the Hide Feature, so don't read if you don't want to be spoiled.

List of partners and dances/judges remarks.

source: http://community.livejournal.com/ohnotheydidnt/13043250.html#cutid1

Jaimie and Hok

Jaimie and Hok- Ok, so thanks producer for putting 2 of my favs together so I don’t have to vote for 1,000 people. Shane Sparks Hip Hop. Jaimie works better then I thought, but she’s Jaimie so whatever, bazing. Hok is breakdancingly wonderful but has some kind of whack football makeup on his face that throws me off for a sec.

Anya and Danny

Anya and Danny- Who the hell’s the douche that hate’s Danny’s attitude!? Boy is amazing! And I’m glad they laid off the villain edit. I guess they are saving that for D-trix. Anyway they did a Jive to that obnoxious Avril song. But I must say this is one of the best looking couples so far. But the next one’s up take the cake.

Lacey and Kameron(fucking hate this bitch, I hate that she did so well)

Lacey and Binks- Good GOD. Amazing. It was like sex on a stick. Mia choreographed another fantastic number and anyone who had doubts about Lacey will soon be placated. She’s FAB. And Binks is delicious. But seriously, WTF is Ben doing there!?

Sabra and D-Trix

Sabra and D-Trix- Disco inferno. I liked them better then I thought I would but not enough to care if they go on Thursday. I’d like to see more though. Mary or Nigel said he looked like John Liguazamo. Which he totally did in his awful brown disco pants.

Ashlee and Ricky

Ashlee/y and Ricky- Ricky is ten shades of wacky in the intro but he’s so likeable. Plus I met him after the show and he’s just a peach. This was the weakest dance of the night sad to say. Tango. I wish Rickey had a different partner because this girl was a massive beast and it made the tango so damn unsexy.

Sara and Chuy

Sara and Chuy- Wade spectacular routine #46-pop jazz edition. They came out in hobo-esque outfits and KILLED IT. It was amazing. I’m not sure if it was just Wade genius hypno juice or them, but it was fantastic.

Faina and Cedric

Faina and Cedric- Shane Speezy. Hip hop. A routine I already knew, crazily enough. Faina was struggling. Cedric was good, but he’s no Ivo, even though he may dance like it. I’m reserving judgement on him until I see him to something that isn’t his style.

Jessi and Pasha

Pasha and Jessi - Smoooooooooth Waltz. And boy was it smooth. The smoothest waltz I’ve ever seen. Might come off kinda boring on screen but in the studio it was really nice. I love these 2 as partners.

Lauren and Neil

Neil and Lauren- Salsa. First, MAN, Neil behind looks niiiiiiice in some white pants. Seriously. No joke. Oh, there was a routine? Yeah. Judges said the didn’t have a lot of chemistry and that Neil dance like a gymnast/cheerleader. I almost threw a shoe. Nigel also made some whack comment about how Lauren needs to stop making love to herself and make love to her partner or something. I dunno, there was a lot of dirty innuendo going on during this show, but I’m sure it’ll be edited out.

Shauna and Jimmy

Shauna and Jimmy- My Jaymzica of the season. Fantastic couple that will probably go out early due to lack of screen time. But give them a chance, they are quite lovely. Jimmy is amazing and Shauna’s control is sick. Tyce Broadway Bonanza.

The standout performances were Sara and Jesus and Lacey and Kameron. I really really loved Lacey the most. I was a bit hesitant about her, thinking I might've not liked her b/c she's benji's sister.. but wow she was amazing tonight.

Cutting Ricky was the worst decision everrrrrr. D-trix should've left. The choice for the girls was understandable; her solo sucked.

Look at how good Ricky was:

And the top 20 group dance was amazing as well:

Yeah they even said that doing the same tricks would be bad. Isn't that D-Trix did? It's not Ricky's fault he's paired up with a TALLER chick. Worse yet, for tango.

Though Cedric kind of annoyed me when he dashed off the stage when he found out he was safe. He did not acknowledge the other people there.

My favorites from Wednesday were the same as yours Oscar, but maybe my number one would be the Vagabond Cabaret. Can't go wrong with Fosse in my book.

Today was pretty bleh with no standout performance but Lacey and Kameron did great this week too. I think there are the team to beat.

I really liked the first song. Timbaland rocks! :bandana:.... :nerd:

If Lacey mysteriously does not pick Hip Hop (like Benji last year), I will seriously hunt down her dad and break that electronic sign thing he is holding. Other than that, heh, I like Lacey and Kameron.

Actually I thought everyone was solid last night. Too solid in fact, that everyone blended together and nobody really stood out as "fantastic."

The people this year are boring, but I only saw on couple last night, the black guy and the white girl who did the classic dance, they were good but bland.

Shut up Lythgoe, Cedric got the pity votes, as well as Pasha although he was pretty good. hehe Danny was pretty pissed.

My favorite couple last night were Jamie and Hok, they were amazing.
