The immensely popular weekly radio show (hosted by Ira Glass) that, if you've never turned on a public radio station in the past 10 years or so, features a number of seemingly random -- yet hugely interesting, funny, emotional, etc. -- stories that pivot around a central theme finally made its way to TV this week. Specifically, Showtime, whose website is now featuring the first 30-minute episode.

I know I'm pretty late into the game, but I just within the past few months started listening to TAL via podcast and, despite those who rag on it, I love it. And I think the transition to TV is pretty seamless.
At least watch the first episode. It's really good.
