Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader is a monster! It had better retention out of Idol last night than on Wednesday.

I cry for the American public.

Uggh its moments like these that want to make me boycott anything Fox related from their crappy movies like Epic Movie, to their distorted news channel and tv programs like 5th grader to appeals to the lowest common denominator

So is it at least up against new episodes of Grey's and CSI next week? Or will it have zero competition through out its run?

Does that mean for this coming Weekly Ratings Rankings, FOX has the top 6 rated shows of the week?

Granted, that's technically only two shows, but still!

When do Grey's and CSI air new episodes?

New episodes of Grey's Anatomy will return on March 15th for two weeks. CSI won't return will new episodes until April 5th.

Grey's returns in two weeks, but by then Are You Smarter... will be at 8. However, Ugly Betty will be new too.

Still, Fox ordered 4 more episodes of the show, stretching it out into April. And they're putting Family Guy and American Dad repeats on at 9. Odd, considering Are You Smarter... is probably a big family show.

Well, at least it's slightly better than the repeats of Nanny 911 and Trading Spouses. But I really get the feeling that Fox does not want Thursday to succeed. Why not change Hell's Kitchen's premiere back to soon, and give it a big lead in from 5th Grader?

Are You Smarter is a huge hit somehow in spite of containing way too many commercial interruptions.

Why is Idol on 3 nights a week?

Males perform on Tues, females on Wed, and eliminations on Thursday (will keep going until the final 12 I think).

how do AI's thursday ratings figure into the season average? It usually has only 2 entries (Tues and Wed) at the end of the season.

Maybe into Wednesday. Since Wednesday is usually the results shows and the special Thursday airings are results shows.

It shouldn't figure in at all. Episodes aired during a special timeslot are not counted.
