I'm not sure what you are talking about, are you saying you saw an ad for next week where he's coming back? I figured they'd play out the stamford stuff for at least 8 or 9 episodes.

Yeah, I have seen the ad a couple of times now.

I watched it again last night and liked it more. I guess I just had to get used to the fact that it is now a succesful show and it looks it It was jarring at first, but I guess that's a natural evolution for series. And now that I've found out the final part was improvised by Carell and wasn't in the script it makes more sense. BJ looked like he was watching a car wreck, his reaction was hilarious.

He improvised that?? Okay, now he REALLY deserves an Emmy. And yes, I was dying of laughter simply because of BJ's face.

Still, my favorite moment would have to be Ed Helms losing it when Jim put his calculator in Jello.

oh, and great avatar.

BJ's face was great, but I thought it was hilarious how Kelly was totally loving the slash.

It's a fandom term for anything gay. And Kelly was totally fangirling the Oscar/Michael kiss.

Great premiere. The two offices thing worked well, but I don't expect it to be long term.

I saw the ad again. After watching it for a third time, I don't think Jim is switching branches this soon. It looks like the entire Dunder Mifflin company and all of their branches are at a convention of some kind, so Jim as part of the other branch just ran into his old branch. I hope I'm wrong though and he's back for good.

Well, the episode is entitled "The Convention". I guess your most recent theory would be correct.

I think the show needs the other branch in order to have plot possibilities.

Maybe Jim will have a tryst with Rashida Jones' character.

That's what I thought it was called, but I wasn't sure.

Now I look like a dumbass. Thank you.

No you don't. It wouldn't have been farfetched that Jim would come back to Scranton so quickly.

Am I the only one that didn't know that Jim would be working at the new office in Season 3, and that was where the new cast members would be? I honest to God didn't know until the premiere aired. I thought Ed Helms and Rashida Jones were going to work at Scranton, and the whole transfer mess would be resolved already.

Now who's the dumbass?

I didn't know either, and I thought Pam was getting married. But I guessed that Jim would transfer and the new cast, or at least one of them, would be his replacement.

I liked it, a good episode. WTH was up with Kelly feeding Ryan, that was weirdly hilarious. And I liked Jim being nice to Michael.

One thing though, what was that comment by Angela about flies? Did anyone get the point of that?

Cast and crew of the show reading an article JF wrote called 10 things you don't know about women.

Wasn't that Angela though??? Didn't she call him "D" or something like that lol??

The first two were OK so far. Michael's really annyoing. The ending scene with the black light was perfect.

haha bugging the blackberry. classic.

i'll tell you what i like about this show. it reminds me of talledega nights. they do a lot of product placement but always in context to the premise, dialogue and what not without it looking unnatural at all.
