 The Simpsons vs. South Park Now THIS is a battle of animated comedy titans. Both series are immensly loved by almost everyone and both belong to some of the longest-running comedy shows ever.
Personally, I think it is a very tough pick. I have always loved The Simpsons a little bit more up until the last couple of seasons. But then The Simpsons became pretty unfunny, whereas South Park has always kept its level of humor.
In the end, I give a slight edge to The Simpsons.

The Simpsons are much better, and don't have to resort to crude humor to be funny. It's actually witty, something South Park lacks greatly.

The latest season of south park was better than the latest season of the Simpsons, but overall, Simpsons is better

If we count older episodes, I would go with Simpsons all the way. If I were to judge them by the last 3 seasons, I would go with South Park

The Simpsons are way better. South Park is good, but compared to the first season of The Simpsons it's pretty pale in comparison. Newers season of The Simpson are just slightly ahead of Sputh Park.

Simpsons 4-5 years ago yeah, maybe better then South Park, but Simpsons is horrible now, i'd rather watch reruns of Family Guy or Futurama.

I can't stand South Park but the first few seasons of the Simpsons are a comedy classic. If Futurama had lasted longer I might have gotten into that.

South Park is a bit iffy. Much like Simpsons, they switched gears after Season 4. Instead of character-driven episodes, that were loyal to the plot of the entire show, they switched in Season 5 or 6 to more parodies of movies, news, music, you name it. It's clever now, but I got to like the show when it was itself. Simpsons is almost the same way, only they don't focus an episode entirely as a parody, but instead make random it-jokes in every episode.

SOUTH PARK is much better, in my opinion. SIMPSONS used to be funny, but it's really stupid and unfunny now.

South Park is much better and always has been. South Park actually parodys real topics now, so they can keep the show from going stale like The Simpsons did.
