I wonder what exact numbers did the 24 segment and the actual 400th episode of The Simpsons got. I really thought both were good episodes. *GASP* And they really mocked 24, Fox News, and Fox Broadcasting.
Nice to see Brothers and Sisters perk up with what it seems like one of its best retentions of an original Housewives rating.
I wonder how much will the Watercooler-worthy ending contribute to Housewives' ratings next season.

Can't King of the Hill just end already? Terrible.

Yeah I don't quite understand why Fox initially put it after the Simpsons (where it was getting more than 6 million viewers) then suddenly ship it to the 7 PM Sunday Death Zone, where it gets the same numbers as a Simpsons repeat on that time.
I think the renewal for next fall is for the remaining episodes that didn't air this season. It did get a "surprise" renewal last year as well.

The Simpsons finale did indeed really slam Fox. So much so I'm surprised Fox aired it.

The Simpsons still has some bite... too bad it's not as frequent as before.

Actually, it's not that great of retention. Housewives went up by a few million since recent weeks, but Brothers and Sisters only went up by about one million. Good number, of course, but the retention isn't anything to brag about.

I didn't watch it, but I bet it's incredibly blunt.

Not too bad for Housewives compared to the rest of the season post-January but pulling in 18.5 million with no competition really shows how many viewers it has shed. At least a good 2.5-3 million.
Brothers and Sisters retention wasn't bad but wasn't very impressive either. Its premiere was 65% retention out of Housewives' season premiere. Its highest retention was the first week of January when Housewives dipped below 18 million for the first time. It held on to 74% of its audience. Last night's retention was around 69%... not too bad but its definitely Housewives' fall that's making it look good.
Housewives season average should be very close to 18.54 million and Brothers and Sisters average is about 10.42 (comparably, Ugly Betty's is a not so far off 10.91).
