Post Why won't Firefly just Die Already?
Rumor from the ever rumor-mongering Queen Kristin of Eonline:

I've heard the CW is considering bringing it back as a series, miniseries or movie for next season. Hurrah! For you who missed my message board posting, on Tuesday, Nate Fillion, Summer Glau and Gina Torres were seen coming out of one of the exec buildings at Paramount, where they are putting together the new CW unit.

I loved the show when it aired, and unlike most of the lunatic fans out there, actually watched the damn thing when it was on Fox. I mourned its cancellation. Bought the DVDs. I waited eagerly for the movie, and enjoyed it. But enough is enough.

At some point, the crazy, obnoxious fans got to me. Let it die, peacefully this time. Please. Reruns have really started to grate on my nerves. It's a shame, too, because it is a good show.

I would have thought the movie's frigid reception would have been the final bullet, but perhaps not.

They'll have to rename it Lazarus now.

Firefly lives on in RPG form, and Joss has definite plans for a monthly Firefly comic book. It's not going to die, but to get people's hopes up for a TV re-debut is ridiculous. It's not gonna happen.

they did say that Serenity's sequel might be a tv movie. I'd love for a Firefly miniseries. But the show coming back for TV? Not gonna happen.

Actually nowadays it's quite possible for a show to be re-picked up or reknewed on to another network. I'm a little taken back by some of the comments though, I also watched Firefly when it was on Fox morned its cancellation but I would love to see it come back there's so much more to be said in the story and CS may be the perfect place for it.

Also take not of how your refer to Kristen, of all the online tv mumbo jumbo she is the most accurate person I've found yet.

I think it's a good idea, even though I never watched the show. It's cool for the fans. I don't see why "enough is enough." Hell, bringing back great shows is nice. I wish they'd bring back WONDERFALLS for some channel! It would work best on HBO or Showtime though, not network TV.

Normally I would be indifferent to it, but in this instance I hope this isn't true. Why? Because I want the CW to have as much open space as possible.
