Beat ya, Donnie. j/k
Anyone else find it humorous/annoying that yesterday Berman was saying that the cancellation clock was ticking for HIMYM, and today he's saying expect a full-season renewal any day now?

This one was posted first... So I guess mine should be deleted.
Anyway... ''Commander in Chief'' is the next ABC wonder it seems... ''NCIS'' is strong this year... Is this the first time it got higher ratings than ''Law & Order: SVU''? ''Supernatural'' should get higher ratings, although its already one of the strongest shows on WB, behind only already well established ''Gilmore Girls'', ''Smallville'' and ''7th Heaven''.
''According to Jim'' and ''Rodney'' should be put of of misery. Why did ABC renew these series anyway? With their current momentum they should've tried with something new. ABC would most likely end up getting higher ratings than these two comedies can offer.
My gut tells me ''My Name is Earl'' will slowly die as the season goes on. Kinda like ''Joey''.
''Sex, Love & Secrets'' is a BOMB...

I was like WTF???
I think ''How I Met Your Mother'' is just fine. It should not be labeled as a loser because it always gets higher or on par A18-49 ratings than ''King of Queens''. If CBS plays the game like it should and sends ''How I Met Your Mother'' in the slot after ''Two and a Half Men''. The two make a better pair.

I think ABC renewed ATJ because it's going into syndication, so more episodes = More $$$. And Rodney was working with ATJ very well. I expect both of thewm to be shipped off to Fridays at midseason in place of Supernanny.
And MNIE should hold level off at about 10-12M viewers after House returns and stay there for the rest of the season, enough to be considered a success.

He's one big hypocrite. And an annoying one at that. AND A REPETITIVE ONE on top of all that! "Hey, did you all notice how NCIS has really taken off in Season 3?" So, I guess if I don't like it, I can call it overrated now, Marc? It was a big hit since it started, from the same crowd that watched JAG. It just has a few more viewers this season, Marc. If you did your job right and posted ratings info without your own personal opinion, you'd notice NCIS was a hit from its first episode back in 2003.
And, The Office is not deserving of its loser category. It's up from last season, up from the same time period a year ago, and holding on to an average portion of Earl's audience. No, it's not a winner, or even an honorable mention, but I for one think it does not belong in the loser category.
And what's with "That's what happens when a New York team isn't in the mix!" concerning baseball? Like it's their fault.

Nice for Commander and Gilmore Girls.
I wish they would just move My Name Is Earl to Thursday night's in place of Joey so I could watch it. I don't know why they don't. I think they should.

So, what TheFutonCritic and Zap2it do is illegal? They don't add their own opinions. I don't mean calling a show a failure or a success, I mean when he flat-out comments on a TV show itself, and not the ratings.

Surprised that such a dull show like CiC can get such good ratings. Must be the "Sutherland Effect."
Decent for "Close to Home" considering it was actually higher than its premiere. "Sex, Love, and Secrets" is a certifiable dud and I'm surprised that UPN keeps airing it.
No wonder "Rodney" gets such lackluster ratings. It is really, really unfunny.

NCIS has actually passed SVU now?
Once Commander In Chief comes back down to earth CBS will have another #1 show. It's insanity.

The drop for SVU isn't particularly concerning. Baseball may have had an effect.

Well I think it will keep the strong ratings. At least for this season, and if the show stays good or at least solid enough it should be up in the ratings even more next season.

I think ''Commander in Chief'' will continue getting 15-16 million viewers per episode, just enough to beat ''NCIS''. I think it has potential to even go up.

I thought about baseball being the reason, but Boston Legal (a superior show that airs in the same time slot ) , didn't take a similar hit, so SUV's drop stood out because of that. I guess we'll know for sure in the due course of time.

I think SVU dropped because there wasn't as much of a hook as the last episodes (Season Premiere! L&O Crossover! Emmy-worthy performance!). Leading man going ape-shit isn't as much of a hook as those other ones.

Oh, did Christopher Meloni get in somebody's face like he's a badass again?
Seriously, I'd watch the show every week if just one time, somebody knocked his ass down and humbled him.

They did a lot of backstory on his character that partially explained his reasons for his anger issues on last night's episode, though.

Do you mean that they did the backstory in last night's episode, or in previous episodes, and last night's episode was the fruit of all their foreshadowing?
That actually sounds like it would have been an interesting episode, and I'm glad that the writers have him so tense and high strung for a reason. (I'd still like to see him get lumped up a bit the next time he goes off, though, and admit it, so would you. )
