This can probably be a "Respond and Lock" thread, since it really only needs the answer. But, I watch Law and Order: Criminal Intent every so often on Sundays, because CTV in Canada airs it at 7 at a time when nothing else good airs. But, since the premiere, I've only seen Chris Noth and some other girl on the show. Where are Vincent D'Onofrio and his partner on the show? I miss them, they more or less made the show for me. I heard Chris Noth might be permanent on the show, but I figured that D'Onofrio would still be on the show. Aside from an upcoming two hour episode, will D'Onofrio be returning full-time anytime soon?

So far the show has been alternating Chris Noth and Annabelle Schiorra(sp) with Vincent D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe, not sure how long that will continue. The season premiere featured D'Onofrio and Erbe in a case involving the return of Goren's nemesis Nicole Wallace.

I remember reading that Chris Noth was invited back into the Law & Order world because Vincent wanted a break or something like that, I'm not entirely sure.

The lead guy had a breakdown and was briefly hospitalized late last year, and it was determined he was suffering from exhaustion -- at least that was the official word. It was decided that he needed to share the load so they brought in Noth as a co-lead.

Oh, well that's cool. I must have only seen episodes with Chris Noth, and not with D'Onofrio. Thanks for answering, everyone (Lucky, Korrgan, Archie).
