I'm pumped for the finale, so. I guess I like it more than most.
Exactly. It's still better than 90% of what's on TV. I'm incredibly excited for the finale, even if the three endings that loyal posted are all kinda lame.

I took off from work tomorrow to watch 24 (I work every Monday night, and then come home and watch it, usually).
Enough said.

Anyone else think "My eyes, my beautiful eyes!" when it blew up in Doyle's face?
I wonder if he returns next season he'll get some rad disfigurement make-up work.

Death to the spoiler thread!!
I loved, loved, loved this episode until 5:59:57 showed up on the screen. Something was supposed to happen. Something BIG. I'm somewhat disappointed.

It's a rather fitting ending, really.
And you know why.

Heh, the 24 writers sure have proven themselves to be the world's biggest assholes this season.

well the ending pretty much summed up this season. I didn't want to say it but this season was worse than Season 3 and that was my least favorite until now.

It's like when you're on a high and suddenly have your plug pulled.
After all this buildup of a shocking ending, it's very disappointing. It's almost like a joke; the "ha, ha, we fooled the audience" sort of shite.

Why not? bABA, Libs and I have been bitching for a while now, it's not exactly something that you need to keep quiet about.

It kind of reminded me of the S3 finale.
But seeing as though I haven't watched the past 5 or 6 episodes, I am not in the best position to judge.

First thing that came to mind. Though Jack's mini-breakdown in the car was far, far more poignant than this. This just left me going "So?"
Ugh.
Though it is nice to see Loyal finally releasing all of his pent-up disappointment over this season.

Yup, that Season 3 (or was it 2?) finale came to mind. Where Jack gets into his car and nothing happens. I'll get over this, because overall, I liked the episode, but reading all that spoiler about the possible ending had my hopes sky high.
Like, seriously, I think a more effective ending would have been Chloe saying to Morris, "But you're not the father..."
Edgar walks in.
5:59:57, 5:59:58, 5:59:59, 6:00:00.
I have to admit, though, the conversation between Jack and Heller sent chills down my spine.

Well I was hoping there would be some kind of cliffhanger that would make it all worth it. The finalle was good until the end. I liked the fight on the oil rig but the ending just wasn't that good.

That ending took balls in the sense the writers will be living in fear of their life's afterwards.
