everyone was saying the show was dead after season 3 too but the ratings went back up. That's the weird thing with 24. One season it could go down and the next it could go up all depending on how the story is.

Exactly. I'm not going to lose faith in the show now. Now with the movie on the backburner (which I only found out last night), maybe they'll focus on fixing everything they did wrong next season.

I'm still into the season. And hopefully we get more excitement as the season comes to a close. We can't really blame a mediocre season, after the greatest year ever in Season 5.

Uh oh, it's 24 day. Better go to the drug store and get anything that can get my drowsy. ;)

God, I hope it doesn't suck next season. I can't imagine Loyal doing to 24 what he did to Lost.

That in itself ruined Lost for me, for a little while.

OMG, Jack is sooooooo bad-ass. Hanging on to the bottom of a truck- LOL, awesome. :hahaha:

This has been the best episode in quite a while so far.

Well, that episode was a step up, at least.

I totally knew Audrey wasn't actually dead. Her being alive makes me happy, actually, because I really like her character.

This episode was great, I loved how he broke Fayid's neck :) Jack was the Jack of old there. I love the set up as Chang as the new badie.

Me too. I've always really enjoyed her character and Kim Raver's portrayal of her. I knew from the very beginning that she obviously wasn't dead.

Very good episode, IMO. I like this new change in direction for the remainder of the season- reminds me very much of the glorious first season.

I also enjoyed Palmer this episode. At least it made sense what he was up to. I was about to say he tookone too many adrelian shots.

Great episode, best of the season aside from the opener. I'm glad they didn't stretch this storyline too much longer, the next one worries me though.

Well I think this will be the last storyline covering the last 7 episodes. I am curious to see what Chang wants.

stupid stupid stupid. but i guess people like it. then again, i'm the type who hates stories twisting and turning.

2nd twist this season that i'm very unhappy about. first the family, now this.

The plot twists have been a big staple of 24 since Season 1. I think the 6 seasons have probably had a dozen plot twists. Season 2 probably had the most.

I'm still left screaming at the TV when Jack isn't on (Metaphorically of course), but luckily there was plenty of Jack tonight, and it was awesome. LOVED the fight between him and Fayed.

That scene between Nadia and Milo left me hoping one of them is shocker-killed though. Is there a more annoying couple on TV at the moment?

Milo is the problem. He has had only one good moment and that was when he was nearly killed. Nadia isn't that bad get rid of Milo things would improve. I have to say Morris had a terrific line.

Definitely a better episode. Everything except the CTU drama worked for me. Lots of Jack, so of course it's gonna be a stellar episode.

I'm not surprised in the twist (mostly because I read the spoilers ) but I wonder how they're gonna tie this in to the rest of the season. The phone call at the end like that is more like a season-ending cliffhanger, not an episode-ending one.

Holy shit, fantastic episode.

I read the spoilers so I knew Audrey was coming back, but wow, great set-up. As someone said, that's a season finale kinda shocker, not an episode. And, Jack hanging Fayed is right up there with Jack biting out the guy's neck in the second episode.

I pretty much stopped trying with 24, but for all the complaints about 24 being ridiculous... It has always been ridiculous. It's more out there and fantasy-world than Lost. One man does not save the world 6 times and manage to always finish it within a perfect 24 hour time-frame, where the climax happens in the last hour every time... the show has never been close to realistic.

With that being said, someone going back to work right after waking up from a coma, or the president launching the nuke to look good, isn't just ridiculous... It's lazy and stupid.

not this way ... the other seasons kept relating and over lapping .. this one ... the twists themselves have been .... very forced.

Welcome back, 24 (I hope).

Best line came from Doyle after seeing the kraziness Kiefer left: "Damn, Jack!"

Showdown between Jack and Fayed is great - no guns, just dirty brawn. No hanging off a ledge then falling to your death in an abrupt, anti-climactic manner (I'm looking at you, Marwan!).
