Palmer randomly becoming evil and retarded (he was wooden and boring before, but not evil!) is just so out of character, out of left field, and completely hard to believe that I pretty much laughed out loud.
Well he isn't evil he is pumped full of adrenlin, that crap will mess with your mind. He isn't thinking straight plus he was just pulled out of a coma. I am certain he will stop the strike at the last second.

To-to-lay.
Between this and the rumored resolution to the family storyline, I really can't wait for this season to be over.
God, did the nasty spirits bABA and Loyal had towards Lost get passed on to the two of us towards 24 or something?

Well, it wasn't as silly as last week. Gredenko getting him arm chopped off was pretty cool. But the CTU drama stuff is becoming more and more annoying, and the White House legal stuff wasn't really interesting at all. Though I did like the twist, however implausible it might be.
Lost is totally better than 24 right now.

I am still enjoying the season. I think the problem is that last season was perfect and this season is more like Season 3 which was the weakest season of 24. To me this is the second weakest season of 24, unless the last 8 hours can help it pass Season 4.

But the first four hours of 24 were better than, I don't know, the past 2 seasons of Lost. I think that's a fair statement.
Well maybe the last four hours of 24 will be better than the rest.

There was really no way to match the excitement level. I can't say anything about the final 8 hours.
Yeah that is true too. It opening with that much going on was tough to really match. Of course something big could happen in the last 8 hours to match that, I guess we will see.

I don't think the yelling in the thread title is needed anymore. That's how disappointed I've become in this season.

Ha ha. And it gets even worse...
I think those involved with this show should just toss logic out the window altogether; let's just pull out the paints -- or in this case, colored pens -- and go wild. Ugh, whoever thought I'd miss the cougar.
The best part: the show will get even worse and more ludicrous. I nearly peed my pants when I read an upcoming family subplot.
Poor Jack... Even he's embarrassed which is why we never see him anymore.

I read a spoiler regarding Wayne and his launching of the nuke. Uh oh...
Hopefully it's true and it will totally redeem this storyline.

If the Emmys this year continue with one-tape nomination selection, if the producers submit any of the first four hours, 24 is guaranteed a Best Drama nomination (even if the series as a whole may not deserve it).

What happened to the title of this thread??????
You no longer want people to watch it?
Ok... I was going to give it a shot this week, but since you backed off of your pimping of the show, I think I'll skip it.

I think 24's Best Drama Emmy was deserved last year, but I wouldn't even nominate it this year if it were up to me (I'd probably nominate Lost, Grey's, Brothers & Sisters, Heroes and House).

Friday Night Lights is better than all those this season.

24 deserves it more than Heroes.

I wouldn't doubt that. I've kind of wanted to start watching that and The Office eventually.

FNL is more than just about football. There is actually very little football shown in the show. Its more about how the sport affects the town and makes you ask the question "is the town in such bad shape that they turn to football or is football the reason why nobody seems to want to move on."

Seriously, if they weren't signed for a 7th season already, this season could have been the one to bury this show.
Let's look on the bright side: there's nowhere to go but up next season. Or is there...
