You guys don't have to fill out every category, just leave a category blank if you don't feel like you have watched that type enough. It's better than putting an uninformed opinion or just doing what others tell you to do. I think I left lead comedy actress blank as I hadn't watched Old Christine or Desperate Housewives hardly at all and couldn't think of any others.

Thanks, Archie. If someone reads the FYC thread and sees someone or some show that they've seen once or twice, and they want to add it to their ballot because they would like to fill up the categories, that's fine. But, it's not a great idea to nominate a show you've never seen.

Anyway, send in whatever you can, guys. It's really appreciated.

The deadline is tomorrow. Please post in this thread if you plan on sending in a nomination ballot. If necessary, the deadline will be extended. If not, the deadline will be tomorrow.

Thanks guys.

Have you looked over the ballots you have to see if there's enough to start the voting? Also, I thought of one reality show I watch, if you want to add that to mine. It's Penn & Teller's Bullshit.

Deadline tonight, peoples. I will likely allow one additional day for anyone who might not be here on the weekend. Most likely, nominations will be announced on Tuesday afternoon, unless I get a large number of people who are planning on sending them in. Right now, I have just one who plans on sending in tonight.

Libs? Are you still sending a ballot in? If not, that's okay. Try to let me know.

Right now, I have 15 ballots. Mine is being made up, and Christian is sending his tonight or tomorrow, which makes 17. Last year, I received 19 ballots. Pretty much the same, but if you think you can set aside 15 or 20 minutes to fill one out, please please please tell me in any of the KJ Television Awards threads, or PM me. I don't want to cut off anyone, especially if they don't know the deadline is tonight, which is why the current plan is to allow one additional day for those who may be gone away for the weekend or whatever.

If there are any changes to the announcement of nominations (Tuesday is the plan), then I'll post in the threads. Thanks guys.

I will say, though, that even if the the show doesn't score a best comedy nom (it won't, and this was a weak year for the show anyway), I think Lauren Graham WILL be nominated this year.

Virtually every article I've read regarding the new voting system cites something like, "...to even out the playing field for performances like the oft-ignored Lauren Graham..."

I read a really great article which said everything I think about that. Basically, SHUT UP about Lauren Graham. She doesn't deserve a nom. It's slightly possible that she did in past years, but this season, not at all. Particularly in the comedy category. If they wanted her to have a shot in hell, they'd stick it in drama.

She stills deserves a nom and a win. They've screwed her over too much in the past and her performance is just too terrific to overlook, I don't care what season it is. Sure the recent seasons have been disappointing and that streak should only continue in the next season without the Palladinos, but before this show is gone she needs a freakin' Emmy for it! It would be wrong, wrong, WRONG for her not to get one. Kelly Bishop, who plays Emily, also needs one.

Ok, if it's not too late I'm going to do mine.

What categories would these be in though (Best Actor/Actress or Best Supporting Actor/Actress):

Katherine Heigl, Grey's Anatomy (I myself consider her to be in the leading category as she's one of the main players and gets a ton of screentime)
Joely Richardson, Nip/Tuck (Probably supporting)
Patrick Dempsey, Grey's Anatomy
T.R. Knight, Grey's Anatomy (Another one I myself would consider lead, but would probably be supporting)

Oh my god, it's definitely not too late! Everybody send in any last minute ballots!!! I won't unveil nominations until I'm sure the ballots are in, so please let me know, guys.

Well, I think Katherine Heigl is considered supporting. I guess you should ask someone that knows Grey's Anatomy more than I do, but I'd consider her supporting. I think Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey are the leads. From what I've seen, Heigl is as prominent as Sandra Oh, and Oh is supporting.

I think Joely Richardson is supporting, but I'm not completely certain. I consider the leads to be the two male leads.

Dempsey is lead, and T.R. Knight is considered supporting, I believe.

I'm not sure about Dempsey being lead. It's possible, and sounds familiar, but he doesn't have any more screen time than anyone else. Is being the main love interest for the lead reason enough to be considered lead?

I suppose it is.

He was submitted as lead, I believe.

Okay guys, this is your last chance. I'm going for the night to watch the Stanley Cup Finals game. Tomorrow morning, I will begin to get the nominations together, and I hope to have them announced in the afternoon. So, if you're going to send them in, either send them before tomorrow morning, or PM me and tell me you're going to send them, okay? I'll wait, but only if you're really going to send them.

Thanks guys.

I'm going to send mine in tonight but some I couldn't help it and only have one or two nominations for. Most I have more of, but there were a few I couldn't think of anything else so I hope that's ok.

It's great, Mike. Thanks for the ballot!

Okay guys, I'm closing the voting now. I'll spend the next while getting the ballots together, and I hope to have the nominations up later today.

I actually didn't realize this would take so long. It's more likely that the nominations will be announced tomorrow afternoon. I hope that's all right with you guys.

It's alright, the only request I have is that you don't have a long bathroom break in the middle of the final ceremony like last year. ;)

Nominations coming around 1:30EST, guys. Should I post the nominations one at a time, or just post the big list immediately? Someone let me know before showtime. Otherwise, I'm just posting the list.

Tie-breakers were a HUGE factor in the ballots. Holy crap. Since there were so many, I decided that if six nominations weren't established, it would go to either 7 or 8. However, in two extreme situations where there were more than 8, I cut it down to 8. The worst was 10. But that only happened twice.

So, there are either 6, 7 or 8 nominations per category, in the 22 ballots I received.

Hmmm maybe announce the main ones (series, acting, hall of fame) in each separate post, then post the rest in one big post?
