I'm really tired of the CTU scenes -- mostly because of the people left as well as the dullness that permeates the atmosphere. What is the point of the Muslim (?) girl who works there? Besides looking good, she's done nothing all season. Chloe's husband just irritates me -- please kill him! Actually you can kill Chloe now too! I was never the biggest Chloe fan to begin with, and, imo, the character has run dry.
I know these character names, but keep forgetting them; probably forgetting because there's no point in remembering. I still remember Nina's name and Sheri's name and they've been dead for years now. Honestly though, they left a good impression. I even remember Teri Bauer and I couldn't stand her character.
Charles and Martha were spot on and saved this episode. It was a decent episode, but mostly due to their corybantic soap opera insanity.

I agree. I yearn for the days of Nina and Tony and Michelle and Chappelle and Mason and crazy Chloe. They at least had personalities. Hell, I'll even take Edgar and Teri, both of whom annoyed me to no end, and whom - I'm ashamed to say - I was glad to see bite the dust.
Maybe next week, with the introduction of another mole, will spice things up. Here's hoping it's Zombie Nina.

It's interesting this season that all main CTU people (except for newly introduced Ricky Schroder) are regular cast members.

That was easily the best episode since the bomb went off in Episode 4. 24 is just so much better the last two weeks. I'm proudly admitting that.
They need to forget about Sandra Palmer. Especially with Wayne out of action. She's not a good character.
Keep the CTU people simple. Enough with Bill's lovelife, Chloe and Morris's drinking woes, Milo's past history with seemingly everyone he works with. Just enough already. What made Tony, Michelle, Mason and Nina interesting was how good they were at CTU. It was so simple. We didn't need a bunch of backstories on these characters. A bit here and there, but it was never prominent. When we saw CTU, it was CTU. Not alcoholics. Not lovelives (Tony and Michelle's relationship was so much more low-key than Bill and Karen).
And forget Jack has a family outside of Kim. No Papa Bauer. No Evil Blue Eyes. No Jack Jr. Just Kim.
24 is so much better lately without all that shit mucking everything up. It's distracting when there's a nuclear bomb going off, Jack fighting terrorists, and general bad guys being bad guys, and we got Morris sucking back booze and throwing it up on the sidewalk. ENOUGH. Keep the fucking show simple, and focus on who matters.

Another beef.
Who deserves regular status? Mary Lynn Rajskub. James Morrison.
Who doesn't deserve regular status? Carlo Rota. Eric Balfour. Marisol Nichols. They did not earn their spot in the main cast.
As for Chloe, I still love her. She's just being paired with a painfully bad character. Morris was a ton better before he became Mr. Alcoholic. I loved him. He reminded me of Dr. House. But now that they introduced that, it just ruins him for me.

Season 2 is my favorite, followed by Season 5.

I'd have to say five is my favourite, but I might be biased since I just watched it. I'm not as big a fan of season one as everyone else, if only because I loathed Teri with a passion. Two and three are pretty great as well.

Do you guys think that since Crazy Noah is going ahead with Lennox's original plan... Sandra Palmer would show up again?

Season 1 has problems, no doubt. There were better ways to keep Teri out of the way for an hour or two then a temporary amnesia. And also, minor details like how the Drazens didn't find out that Alexis was caught until they were about to kill Jack, even though Nina was apparently on their side and could have told them easily. But overall, I loved Season 1 because there's not one single episode that didn't keep me on the edge of my seat. I just started Saturday, but if I had the time, I think I would have continuously watched it until Sunday because I was hooked.

Finally, a relatively exciting episode (although I loved everything with the Logans last week).
The vice president has officially crossed the threshold into "caricature."
Poor Audrey. She deserved better than to be randomly disposed of off screen. Although, knowing this show, it's probably a possibility she's not even dead.

Daniels is turning into Jim Jones. One thing I have to say he is playing a heck of bad guy. Also did they catch the real mole?

I seriously doubt Nadia is actually the mole, so...I guess not.

I'm pretty sure that Audrey isn't dead. Of course, that may be because I read the spoilers, but still...
Solid episode. Where were the Logans though? What happened to Charles?

I am not sure about Logan. They sure left that up in the air. I wonder why. As for who is the real Mole that could be interesting. I bet they don't reveal that until near the end.

Damn right.
I like how Regina King is just there in two 3-second shots, looking through a window. lol
What I really liked is the Lennox-Karen alliance.

I actually thought last night was pretty bad. That scene at CTU with Milo and the new head of Ops arguing about racial profiling? Awful.
And how the hell did the VP ever gain the trust of Wayne to take over controling the country should he leave office? That's more unbelievable than anything so far this season.

11.88 million last night.
It's good to know it didn't exactly get killed by Dancing With The Stars last night. It only lost... half-a-million viewers.

That also still keeps it above every season before season five. Remember that when Michael tries to make people think 24 is ending next season.

My favorite catty exchange of the night, not involving Chloe:
-Karen sees Tom's forehead bump-
Karen: "Tom, did someone push you off the stairs?"
Tom: "No Karen, I tripped over your ineptitude."

Chloe seemed back in form the last two weeks. I'm glad.
I really liked the whole "Audrey is dead" twist for Jack's plotline. Sort of gives him more to deal with, even though he seemed to forget once he got control of that plane.

He didn't seem that crazy before the last couple of episode. My guess he did a good acting job for Palmer to get the job.
