Solid episode of this amazing drama. Next week looks to be a bit on the comedic-side, so that should please you Maverikk.

I'm still watching. I actually liked this latest episode quite a bit.

Wow, someone behind this show must be a huge Tegan & Sara fan because this is the third episode in a row that has had a Tegan & Sara song on it. I'm not complaining though - that rocks! I love them!

I loved this episode I thought it was the best of the series' short run, not even Meredith bugged me. I am really liking Christina, Izzy and George. I like the friendship that Izzy and George have formed and I do want to see more of that, I immensely prefer it to the relationship that Meredith and.....well whoever she's "screwing" have.

Second episode I watched (after passing on the first 2) and I was impressed. Very well done. SOLID. Go ABC!!!!

I like all the relationships and I love the chemistry among ALL the cast members. They make it clikc and make it look too easy. This is actually one of the best shows in quite some time. ABC has really hit the jackpot. Not only did they schedule 3 amazingly written and acted shows (LOST, Housewives, Anatomy) but they ALL seem to be rock solid ratings hits!!

I watched the first half of this show, and I'm a bit underwhelmed by it at the moment. It seems too jumbled right now. I don't see any distinguishable characters so far. Perhaps I should try to download the other episodes to get a better handle on the show. I just find it's too mixed up right now. It seems to be all the medical shows in one. If I want drama, I'll go to ER. Comedy, Scrubs. Mystery, House. Of course, I need to watch the rest of the show, and I can only assume it gets better.

I try not to post much here so as not to spoil y'alls fun but jeez that leading woman on this show is officially the most annoying woman on TV to me. She's so self consiciously "perfect" and smug, all plastic surgeried up with her hollywood fake lips and looking no where near smart enough to be a doctor.

OK rant over. Don't worry, I won't keep doing that every week, just had to get it out of my system. :)

Ellen Pompeo? :???:

See Moonlight Mile and get back to me. That's a terrible movie but she's awesome in it.

Hmm, only saw the first 20 minutes and the last 15 but it was my favorite episode so far this season.

That was another series high for Grey's Anatomy inching very close to 20 million and closing the fallout gap between Housewives and its own hour.

I repeat again, this show has truly broken out and is quite unique. I think some of the negatives another poster referred to (is it a comedy, a drama, a mystery?) is its strength. It's so diverse that it makes the show more interesting, more engaging, and more appealing, attracting a wider array of viewers.

I think there certainly are established characters and quite distinctive personalities too. And for a four epsiode run and a pretty large cast (6 central and maybe 2-3 other continuously recurring characters) they have done more than what alot of shows have in terms of character development and investment. Why are you judging so fast?

I also diagree with how annying the lead character is. I'm sure we'll see more devlopment in her character, but tell yo the truth I could really see her as a real doctor and a pretty good one. she plays really good and remember it's the writing you are complainign about not the acting. I think they're all doing a fine job. Except the guy sharing the house with the other 2 girls; I think he's way too figity and unorganized looking to ever be based on a remotely real intern at a hospital. But maybe that's just me being hypocritical (snap judgement) and maybe I, as well, will have to see where it goes.

Wow, a 12.5 rating; pretty impressive. Especially since it still continues to receive a lot less buzz then Lost and -- arguably -- it's fellow freshman medical drama, House. Sure its got the plumb post Desperate Housewives slot, but it's doing waaay better than Boston Legal.

I wonder how this will do tonight though. It might get a little less viewers than usual since Desperate Housewives isn't actually a new episode tonight and is just a clip show type of thing.

I think what will TRULY show the breakou and HUGE-HIT status of this show is that if it actually gets MORE viewers than Housewives.

Housewives could easily dip down to 18-20 million for this non-original episode. Ig Anatomy fans are up and at it, it could still deliver between 18-20 million as it has the past four weeks, and maybe inch past Housewives.

However, if Housewives remains above the 20-22 million region (for viewers) I think that will solidify its status as a forced to be reckoned with on Sunday night at 9!

I agree with Entertainment Weekly's assessment that the opening credits of Grey's Anatomy have nothing to do with the show.

Like...the opening credits make it look like a show about hookers/escorts or something, not doctors/interns.

Anyone else agree?

Yeah, I agree. It's one of the very few flaws in an otherwise excellent hour of television.

Not to mention it's quite dull, IMO.

Also, is Meredith supposed to be sick in this episode? She sounds very raspy.

I actually like the opening credits ;). Sure they don't have much to do with the show, but I just like them. I find them attractive.

I think what they're trying to get at is balancing personal and social life with the hectic life of being an intern.
I think it's sorta off-beat and unique and I don't mind it, especially since alot of shows don't really have an opening sequence. I mean take LOST for example it's just a zoom in on the word 'LOST'

I think more people find it interesting and matching than find it irrelevant and boring. That's my opinion.

I'm halfway through watching tonight's episode and I think last week's was the best yet. While it may still turn up to be great, I think this might be the weakest episode yet, which is saying alot, primarily that is continues to be a strong drama.

It's being consistent so far. I like that they're willing to show their mistakes as well, so it's not like they're always perfect. And I like how we could see it was an honest mistake from Meredith at the begining, but on the other hand we could easily understand why the husband would be so upset.

IT might not be great like, say, Scrubs (though they're pretty different shows all in all) but it's keeping hooked.

And ahhhhh I almost had strange bodily reaction when they played Ivy during the epeisode. Hehe. I might listen to them every other day regardless, but I still get ecited when hear their music anywhere else. ....

Hey guys, what was that song during Grey's Anatomy's episode last night, during that party with Sandra Oh dancing? It sounded almost like Iggy Pop, and the chorus was a few different versions of "Why can't we...".

Another show I've just started watching. Need to get caught up with the current episodes, but I have to say I really have enjoyed what I've seen of it.

Great episode, much better than last week's. I am starting to love this show.

Sorry Mav, I gotta sleep, but if anyone doesn't say anything till tomorrow night, I'll give u a run-down. ABC also provides pretty detailed episode recaps, though I've never really checked Grey's Anatomy ones.
