I agree, Mike. Ellen Pompeo's Merideth is really growing on me. She can often be annoying, but I've really been liking her this season. A drunk Merideth = a funny Merideth.

I thought the episode was good, heck great. But not their best and didn't live up to the HUGE hype the tv spots set up.

When is the first season coming out on DVD? It was only 9 episodes. IT shouldn't take that long.
Unless they're gonna combine season 1 and season 2 (which will be like 32 episodes or something!)

I love her when she's dunk .
I think she's adorable and don't really find her annoying at all this season.
As for the first 9 episodes coming to DVD, well, they were talking about them coming to DVD awhile back but there hasn't been anything since. With it only being 9 episodes I thought it was incredibly stupid that they didn't release them in the summer so people could check them out and it would get new viewers for Season 2. Maybe they will be combining Seasons 1 and 2, but I would rather just have them get the first 9 on DVD pronto. Plus, it would be like a great little starter pack for people who haven't really watched it yet. It would be pretty cheap (much cheaper than a regular season, which has more than double the episodes) so people could just blind buy it, or if they wanted to rent it from the video store it wouldn't be more than 3 discs. I will admit that it might be kind of cool to have a big DVD set with the two seasons combined, but I'd rather not have to wait that long to get the 9 episodes from Season 1.

Just watched Sunday's episode. The show has suddenly become almost perfect, compelling and holding one's interest in multiple ways. The whole cast seems to just click together, as if this was ER in its first few seasons.

Great episode. Although finally I think Housewives was better for the first time this season.
I also think it's one of the top notch shows of the season (2nd behind LOST) but I do have one problem with the "reality" factor...
I realize that it would be near impossible to have so many "intimate" relationships between this few a roup of interns and doctors, but I place that aside because it's an essential element of the show.
I don't why the following bothers me so much, but it does.... with all the hours these interns work, how is it that everytime it shows them at the bar and eating lunch (especially lunch cuz they're at work) they're together... as if they ALL get off at the same time from their patients/duties.
Just a TINY detail I find a bit annoying

LOL, I was Your Sam, it looks like Merideth will be in the hospital. And it seems "the vegetable" is awake.. Hmm.
Bailey is the Nazi right? When the guy said that, I had some hazy memories of season one referring to her as that, and then her attitude kind of reaffirmed it, but just checking to make sure I'm right (or completely wrong)...

Seriously. Could this show be any better? It's note-perfect every single week.

I taped it this week. I REEEEALLY didn't like what I saw in one episode last season, but everyone raves about the show so I'm giving it a second shot.

I think alot of the episode fall a bit above average, but what makes it so great is the consistency.
Take this episode fo example. It didn't start out surprisingly promising and I thought it would just turn out to be a good for an hour but overall, not too important episode. Nothing really big happened, but there were such little nuances and tiny unnoticeable on an individual-episode basis) details that just made it flow and add on to the series.
At the end, it just somehow turned out great even though while going alot, not alot of exciting stuff was going on.
I love Izzy!!!!!!!
And next week's looks pretty good.

Hmm... watched it. Liked it. Still don't quite see the huge hype over it, but it was good. I'll watch again next week. Better than the episode I saw last year.
And it seems like an hour-long version of "Scrubs" much of the time, which is good. Not as funny, but obviously it's not looking to be. Thumbs up from me.

Good episode, looks like Meredith will have a one-night stand. Those surgeons must have really understanding SOs. Nazi, Chief and McDreamy stayed at the hospital most of the day despite having SOs.

Man has this show been fucking amazing! I totally heart this show and I really heart Ellen Pompeo. The last two episodes were friggin' great, just like this season. I swear I haven't been really disappointed by any episode this season. I found the storylines with the main patients in the last couple of episodes (the old couple and then the guy who woke up after I think 17 years) to be quite sad and touching. I just love this show!

Ah, show is so great.
It's seriously becoming my favorite thing to watch. I think the only show I like more right now is Lost.

That was a terrific episode, Lifehouse aside.
Hope Olivia gives Alex a STD, you just knew that Izzy was going to stumble upon them in the act.
