 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
It is looking like only one Greyjoy brother will show up in the show and that will be Euron. He really has to show up since it appears like he will play a major role in the last two books.

Hodor says that he is not appearing in season 5. Does that mean the whole Bran storyline will be cut? Or maybe just his tree visions?

I'm obviously not up on the books, but Hodor is fairly integral to Bran's storyline isn't he?

So given what happened during The Fappening, Lena heady confirmed she will do... *that* ADWD scene. Hell yasss I am pretty sure she can pull of a hairless Cersei and make her look sexy.

Who knows only the character playing Hordor said that. I admit there isn't much left to Bran's storyline in ADWD. I am very worried about season five. I have this bad feeling they might screw things up pretty bad.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
They're filming lots of King's Landing, Dany, Arya (Braavos) scenes in Croatia this year. There might even be some more locations - probably some Dorne scenes (it's rumored one of the houses they've adapted, but haven't used for filming yet will be used for Water Gardens scenes). Unfortunately I haven't been able to be an extra this year. But I'm watching lots of photos from the set. They

http://uproxx.com/tv/2014/10/jaimes-gam ... the-books/Big departure from the book. So Jaimie and Bron(ie) sail to Dorne and find Mycella making out with Prince Trystane. I hope they don't cut the Riverrun stuff because I like the whole stand-off between the Blackfish and Jaimie. That scene was intense since he was ready to threaten to hang Brendan Tully and catapult his new born kid in the air. Oh that and Blackfish mocking Jaimie's stump

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
That's fine, no different than the extra Theon scenes we've been getting. It's weird that there still hasn't been any casting news on Arianne, Griff and Young Griff though. Now that would significantly changed the plot.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
Same with the Greyjoys, although I suspect we will only get one Greyjoy brother. Euron will probably appear at the end of the season. They can keep him in the shadows for awhile since he hasn't played a big role in the books yet .

What part of that deviates from the books? Not planning on reading ahead of the show.
Also, I would imagine if there are major deviations, there's a solid chance that The Hound isn't dead.

If it was about the pics, Tyrion was never really met Dany. The only time that Dany encountered Tyrion was from the stands far apart where Tyrion was part of a parody act of him and Penny(another drawf) in the arena. Jorah Mormont was also never part of arena fight that supposedly took place

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
So what are the thoughts on this? I feel like the writers are doing this primarily because the books are running out and there's no firm timeline for any future releases. Wikipedia says that those who follow Martin's writing pace said the next book might not be released until 2017 (earliest estimate is 2015). That would be the same year as the show's seventh season. That would have to be far past the material from the books I would imagine. Then there's the fact that the next book isn't the last book.
Is there a possibility the show ends differently than the books? The show can't go on forever. Even if they did a super-sized season and split it into two years to stretch it out, it's possible the book series won't end for another five years.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
The pic means that Dany probably has reconciled with Jorah. The books pretty much has Jorah giving up hope of reuniting with Dany and is now partnering with Tyrion for a sellsword group.
HBO and the producers have said they want it for 7 seasons so I'm guessing the last book will be split into 3 movies. GRRM not long ago said he really wanted to do 2 movies or so based on the last book. I don't doubt HBO would do it since its owned by Time Warner and they would make bank with it considering its not as likely that you can pirate the movie with the same quality as you see on the tv screen.

They won't make movies. Season 7 will be split into two.

Yeah I would be happy with that too. Not sure how else they can do it without taking a couple of years off to wait on Martin.

Yet then the movie studio has to wait on Martin to finish. Arya and Bran will be their 30s by then. I think the show will just go with its own ending, inspired by what Martin has told them so far. Kinda like what Scott Pilgrim did.

Its not though its set that Bran and Arya will necessarily be in their tweens or teens by the end of the book since it has not been written. The series ending with movies is GRRM's idea and I doubt he will still write them as characters between 10-15 if he was going to take till 2020 to finish them. Magnus wrote: B. That's the second time this week that I have heard English mistakes in multi-million dollar film and TV productions, supposedly written by actual writers (and not Internet retards).
Game of Thrones S01E07 -- "I could care less what they think of me"
Same mistake was in Guardians of the Galaxy.

"Send a raven" in Game of Thrones is just as annoying as "Take a knee" from After Earth.
