Rupert!? That's awesome!!!
That's great news. I would also like to see Rob try out for The Apprentice. He has a lot of street smarts.

Yes.
Though the difference is Rupper is actually a likeable person.

Now that's stretching it. He's too rich now to want a high paying job. It would be interesting though.

Am I the only person to hear that rumor of Rupert being in The Amazing Race? The last I heard of it was two weeks ago, they had it in the rumor section in the TV Guide (Canadian TV Guide, that is). Rupert's the only reason I would watch a family edition of Amazing Race.

Also, is anyone going to be real brave and post a "Ron and Kelly" avatar?

GO UCHENNA & JOYCE! GO ROB & AMBER!
Suck it, Ron & Kelly.
Also, Rupert on The Amazing Race? Ew...I had more than enough of him on two different editions on Survivor. He was cool at first but he has a strange personality (he's very selfish, I noticed, on Survivor), and I grew *very* tired of him promoting Survivor in those annoying commercials where he talked like a wrestler.

Rupert annoyed me when he was on Survivor. He's a big, dumb oaf, and the only reason he was given the extra mil was because he got the vote of the American public, who are also mainly dumb oafs.

He's funny, too.
Amber has also gotten a lot funnier lately (did you see her in the Sherlock Holmes detective garb last week?)
So, yeah, STFU X 2.

Wow, it's no wonder Rob could convince Lex to shoot himself in the foot, look at the hold he has on you guys...
I'm not trying to be rude, just joking around...it's all good people
But seriously, they don't need any more money. Which is unlike Uchenna and Joyce, who lost their jobs and can't afford the in-vitro fertalization procedures they need to conceive their own children.

It'd be great if they won, of course. Any team by Ron and Kelly I'd be happy with. I just really want Rob and Amber to win!

IMO, Rob and Amber's finances shouldn't matter at all. That's a silly argument.
And Uchenna and Joyce both had well paying jobs at Worldcom and Enron. =;

Yes! I agree with Libs and Korrgan. Korrgan because she's right that Rupert was handed the million because he was so popular, and Libs because Rupert was cool at first, but after a while, his true colors showed through. And, in All-Stars, he basically played fourth fiddle to Rob, Amber and Jenna Lewis.

No, but at least it's a reason to cheer for Uchenna and Joyce. And why is it such a silly argument? Sure Rob and Amber deserve the 1 million if they finish first, but don't ask me to like it.

So... will we all break our TVs if Ron and Kelly stumble into the winner's circle tonight?

Rupert has denied being a part of The Amazing Race 8. One of his kids is not old enough to participate or something like that. Thank god for that. I can't stand Rupert and he would be responsible for me not viewing TAR8, as if the family edition wouldn't have been bad enough. I didn't need to hear poor Rupert's story about being the odd one out and have him yelling at people who didn't do things his way again. May he be off my television forever.
If Ron and Kelly win tonight, it would be just slightly better than a Freddy/Kendra victory from TAR6.
