It may not be the greatest, but it is definitely the most well known and will always be the most well-known TV show. It's a show everyone has watched and everyone likes. Everyone can releate to it. I personally don't think it's the best, but it certainly is a gemstone in society and I have to give them that.

Saw on Conan ( ex-Simpsons writer ), Kelsey Grammer and they talked alittle about the Simpsons and he did one of my favorite Simpsons characters, Sideshow Bob. Pretty cool, to see the actor do that.

I've seen the last two episodes, and they were pretty decent. Obviously, the show can never pull a 180 and go back to the way they were, but it's still better than most other comedies on TV. It would be nice, though, if Family Guy got some big numbers next year, and The Simpsons would end after Season 17 or 18. It can't go forever!

They'll probably keep it on for 2-3 more seasons and then show "lost" episodes every now and then. They definitely want the record for show with the most episodes, which is currently held by Scooby-Doo.
As for the question, it's probably my #2 fav show, behind South Park. Homer is the greatest tv character of all time though.

Simpsons is very good but not the greatest. The Office is the greatest in my opinion ![:D :D](./images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
