I watched it. On the positive side, the girl who plays the secretary does a great job, she was well cast. But the guy who plays the young normal guy, the one who put the stuff in jello, he wasn't so well cast, I don't think that actor is going anywhere, just looked like a random kid with a 5 year out of date hairstyle. Which is a shame because his part is one of the most important ones.
Steve Carell....he's alright but I've often wondered how it was that he became the one from The Daily Show to go off and do bigger things. Ed Helms, Steve Colbert and Samantha Bee are funnier. Even Rob Corddry, I can picture him in the role better than Carell.
Anyway, it wasn't as bad as I feared, there were some good moments.

Well, I think you have to leave the Daily Show first.... Usually leaving the daily show leads to doing VH1 specials for the rest of your life. Steve Carrell is the only one who has done anything significant.

I think he left the Daily Show because he was getting offers.
The only other major Daily Show cast member who left was Craig Kilborn, and what he did was more significant than Carrell.
So there! Nya!

You mean hosting a talk show that got slaughtered by Conan and then leaving it? Steve Carell has been in two hit movies! And his Show has good ratings so far.

Last Nights show was a huge improvement over last weeks debut episode. It could still use some improvement but at least the routine about ethnic diversity day was funny.

This will of course be a watered down, derivative, intelligence insulting version of the UK'S award winning "Office"

Surprisingly good episode. This show is going to get renewed and next year become a hit, I predict. The big question will be once they run out of original-bbc episodes to rip off from, will they be able to come up with their own stuff?

Actually, the pilot was the only and will be the only episode to take a storyline from the BBC series.

That's good news, because I liked this one more than the pilot. The actors seem to be increasingly inhabiting their roles and really trying.

What I appreciate was that they aren't trying SO hard to be funny, as the other british import, Coupling. It seems very natural in this show. Its only 10 minutes until the next episode, so can't wait for that!

Probably the funniest episode yet. When Pam talked about smacking the woman opposed to tossing a coin because it's gambling, that was hilarious. I backed up the tivo a few times just for that joke.

I've watched the past two episodes, and yeah, it's gotten a lot better. Last night's episode was quite hilarious.
I loved Pam cracking up as Dwight knocked himself over in the box.

Yeah that was great. "Of course when she said that she was gambling that I wouldn't smack her." (paraphrasing from memory)
