I don't remember any mention of the shooter. But I wasn't paying very close attention to much of it.

I thought the episode was solid for the most part, but a little confusing, as this show often is. I don't like nice House, also. He needs to be more "lighting woman's feet on fire" and less "giving soothing advice to wife of paralyzed man."

Oh, also? Cameron might want to think about changing her hair, bangs do not suit Jennifer Morrison well.

One thing about the premier really confused me.

They said that they didn't find the shooter... right?

Will someone explain to me how someone, during the day, in front of several witnesses, on the third of whatever floor of a big hospital, shoot someone twice and get out of the hospital and evade police?

yeah, lol.

but house evaded that issue nicely and moved on... lol..

perhaps coz he had a gun, he pointed it at some people to make his escape, hostage style.

maybe they just wanted to clarify that he was definetley a part of house's hallucinations in the previous ep.

Firstly, good episode, as always. I can stand House being nice every once in a while, just so he doesn't become one-note.

Also, did anyone catch this?

David Morse joins the cast of House

He's a good actor and should be a nice foil for House.

Morse is an awesome actor, nice addition to the show, I can't wait to see what happens.

I don't think Jennifer Morrison looked that bad.

Good premiere. Season premieres tend to be average, and I don't think House was any better than average for the opener. Nothing horrible, but not extraordinary.

Awww... No replies yet on tonight's ep? I thought it was a lot more intriguing and involving than last week's episode. I thought it was awesome what the boy's ailment turned out to be. I'd just watched an episode of Medical Mysteries about something similar, but didn't manage to figure out tonight's mystery before the characters did. So that was great.

Loved House's joking around with Cuddy about her being pregnant. Some really funny stuff.

Great episode. Grade A!

Good episode. House had some especially witty banter today.

I really really hated Jimmy. Chase's "Yo mama's so fat..." joke was good. Other than that, House himself was great, as always. Though I was totally cheering when he took his cane out. He may still be snarky, but he's dull when depressed, so he just has to get over it and get back to the real House.

Great ep. Really interesting mystery, though it's been done before on CSI, so I saw it coming, but the whole 'alien abduction' added a whole new level. Plus, it opened up a lot of jokes, such as House's Star Wars & X-Files references. They put the mystery first this week, which was good, since the characters development/side plot stuff are better left in the secondary role. I'm giving this one an A based on some great humour and an intriguing mystery.

This isn't an insult to the episode, cause I thought it was good, but the best thing about last night's House was the Prestige trailer at the end!!!

Good episode. The show does seem to have more continuing characters this season as the girl who hit on House is also in at least the next episode as a sort of 'Fatal Attraction.'

I fangirl'd at the references to Fresno, as I lived there before I moved here to Independence. Seeing that girl crushing on House and having a connection to Fresno was like watching myself... Strange experience.

Loved this episode. Joel Grey's frikkin' awesome!

Grade: solid A

Joel Grey is somethin'. Although, I thought I was watching Arvin Clone throughout the episode.

I was going to say that the girl would probably come up later in the season, but then I figured it was ridiculous. Then I watch next week's preview. Weird.

Another great episode. House was hilarious in the way he dealt with the 17-year-old stalker played by Leighton Meester. She's a good character though so I hope she returns once she's 18.

Unfortunately, because I have no life, I'm home at 7pm.....

At least we'll be going back to 8pm (Central) once House comes back after the stupid baseball pre-emptions...

Over a month without House is going to suck but there's nothing one can do about it.

Yeah I liked him a lot less even than that zillionaire recurring guy from Season 1 who basically bought the hospital for a while, and whose name I forget.

There were a lot of cute lines, like when House said that the meeting is over because he ran out of names to call someone, but not one of my favorite episodes, and I never cared what happened to the patient.
