I would love that. If Showtime actually gives it a third season. If it does, it will be the first Showtime series I've watched that hasn't been cancelled after the second season has already aired.

The season finale just aired and at the end of it they did say that S3 was coming in 2007. I won't take that as 100%, but I don't think they would have said that if they didn't intend for it to happen and after that fucking cliffhanger it had better come back.


So, wow. S1's finale was like a "holy crap" moment, but this one was just pure and absolute chaos. Shane's speech was quite good, and then the "motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane" just sealed it as astonishing. I did not see Silas stealing all her pot coming, and holy fuck if it gets confiscated. That was $500,000 (though they were willing to part with it for $300,000) worth of pot. I wonder if Silas knows how much all that pot he took is worth. I really thought that Andy might leave with Kat at the last second, but I never thought that she would leave with Shane. Predictable this show is not, which makes me think that Peter isn't dead. I have been trained through years of tv and movies to not believe someone is dead until I see a corpse, and even then... Anyway, Nancy sure has a hole to dig herself out of, but I have this feeling that Sanjay is going to be somehow helpful, as he's still in that damn closet. Oh well, I guess we only have to wait until next fucking August to get some resolution.

As a whole I would say that S2 was so much better than S1, and S1 was already great. I wonder how the hell they'll be able to top this. Sidenote, what the hell ever happened to that mexican guy who was part of the unit for like 30 seconds at the start of this season? The one who Nancy had sex with last season. I didn't even realize he wasn't around anymore until last week, but he did just vanish.

Ok, that was definitely a cliffie that makes me want this year to be over already. And Zooey Deschanel will have to be back next season! Yay!

WOW!

Holy crap. My mouth was hanging open for the last few minutes. Just when it can't possibly get worse, it does. And it does again. And again. AND AGAIN! Wow. How awesome. I can't even possibly wait for Season 3.

I'm glad Zooey Deschanel's storyline was unresolved. That gives me hope that fan reaction to her character will make the producers (or whoever) try to sign her to a co-starring role on the show.

And was that the original theme on the finale?

Yes, I believe it was.

Finally caught up and finished the season, which was great.

And a fairly suspenseful cliffhanger, too.
