I've only received three ballots so far, after five days.

I hope this isn't it.

I hope you get more but you might have had more luck going with mtv style fun categories instead. Like best fight scene, best argument, and so on.

Well, during the pre-nomination discussion, I didn't seem to get any suggestions about changing the categories, so I went with the current list. I'm more partial to the current list, but I wasn't opposed to any changes. I couldn't really wait any longer for discussion, so I went with this.

I'm gfoing to send mine in, there are just a lot of categories, heh.

Hopefully by the end of the weekend.

You're probably going to have more people voting for winners, though.

Yeah, I know. I hate making this a bit of a hassle (the nomination process). I think I was being a bit impatient in my original post. If I have three ballots after the deadline, then I'll complain!

I remember last year that the voting for winners was about three times the amount that I got for nominations. So... I expect to have more to calculate then.

About Michael Emerson from Lost: He can't be Guest Actor right, since he's been in 8 episodes? He'll be supporting?

I don't know, but I think it'd be a bit ridiculous to have both him and, say, Terry O'Quinn in the same category. I'd still consider him guest, and I guess if that means breaking the 6 episode thing, then...

If Boston Legal is considered a drama, then what about Gilmore Girls? The sixth season was rather dramatic; definitely more serious in tone compared to the others.

Quite frankly, with the new rules which require to prove that the show is a comedy, I doubt Gilmore Girls ability to qualify. Anyone know when we'll know what it was submitted as?

I've seen only 24, Lost, and Invasion. And a bit of Prison Break...guess too little to participate, right?

Gilmore Girls is still officially in the comedy category.

I'm still working on mine, X. It'll be kinda bare, given that I don't watch a whole lot of TV, but there'll be enough.

Nope, you can still get ideas through the FYC thread.

Can short-lived shows such as FREAKS & GEEKS, WONDERFALLS, MISS MATCH, TRU CALLING, etc... be nominated for "Excellence in Classic Television?"

Well that's just wrong, in my opinion. It's listed as a drama on tv.com too.

I might consider it a drama, too, especially this season, but officially, WB is still submitting the show as a comedy.

Can people post their ballots in here at all? It would be nice if they could so some of us could be reminded of certain options without having to go through the FYC thread.
