Got myself through Episodes 1-3 of Season 1. Drastically different from Season 4 in a lot of ways. Very fun so far. I may skip Season 2 since I watched it already a few months ago. It depends, because I want to watch Season 3 and 4 again.

Episode Four down. Episode Five almost down. I don't trust that Alan York one bit.

The One recently recieved a series 1 -4 boxset...this was great since The One had never seen 24 before...

After nearly 2 weeks of solid viewing Series 5 is greatly anticipated! what channel are they showing it on for UK viewers?

I have seen the first season...which is a television masterpiece IMO. I should get to watching seasons 2-4. I might watch season 5 on television instead of DVD.

I wouldn't advise that, considering Season 5 is, in many ways, a continuation of Season 4.

Updates on my Season 1 re-viewing reviewing:

Hour Five: Gaines puts a bullet in Dan to prove a point to him. Chances are, Dan didn't learn the point before kicking the bucket.

Hour Six: I knew that Alan York was a phony. That doesn't justify killing the sorta-hot girl, Janet. There there, Janet. I'll protect you.

Hour Seven: Teri turns the tables on Faux-Alan. In the ultimate table reversal, faux-CTU agents kidnap Teri. Rats! We'll get 'em yet, Teri. Either that, or you'll die a horrible, painful death at the hands of a CTU mole by the end of the season. Either or.

Hour Eight: Jamey's the mole? No way! I was sure it was that Milo character. Heck, Milo and "mole" have three of the same letters!! Either he's a second mole, or he'll end up disappearing forever by the evening. Either or.

Hour Nine: Jamey advises all moles to come out of hiding. She does this by taking her own life, most likely in hopes that other moles will follow suit. By the next hour, she's dead and forgotten. Pretty sure she slept with Jack at least twice. She had the "I slept with you twice" stare whenever he was around.

Hour Ten: Alberta Green is a bitch. Probably because she's named after a Canadian province that most likely sucks. I've never been, but I can only assume that if she is a bitch, the province of Alberta is a bitch too.

Hour Eleven: Ted Cofell looks a bit like Ricky Gervais. He comes and goes inside of a limo with Jack. That's the story of any victim who gets caught inside of a limo with Jack. Poor Charlene... she never saw Jack's gun coming on prom night...

Hour Twelve: Bullets begin to fly at the end of the episode, but not too many bullets. Just enough to make you watch the next episode.

Hour Thirteen: Gaines becomes the first major villain to be killed off on "24". He later shows up to torture information out of Sydney on "Alias". And who says "24" fans don't look out for "Alias" fans!?

Hour Fourteen: Ryan Chappelle makes his much-anticipated debut, sporting more hair than I last remember. Don't worry, Ryan. That hair will be gone by Season 3. Along with your life. Literally. That's not just an allusion that you have no life by Season 3, but more of a foreshadowing that you'll actually lose your own life in Season 3. Ah, forget it, Ryan. I cannot make it anymore clear for you.

Hour Fifteen: Jack and Palmer meet for the first time ever. It's the beginning of a long and romantic relationship. Do I hear wedding bells in the background already?

Hour Sixteen: If I hear the name Ferragamo just once more, I'm going to kill someone.

Yup. This will be the first day wherein the plot is set off by events from the previous day.

So it's really true that Elisha Cuthbert is back.

And further solidifying that 24 casting people are jizzing after 80's stars, C. Thomas Howell will be guest starring. He'll be in Kim Bauer's subplot.

Day One Re-Viewing Reviewing

Hour Seventeen: Teri has amnesia. Milo must have went for a bathroom break.

Hour Eighteen: Heh... Teri is talking to Dr. Phil. LOLOL. Hey... I think Milo might be stuck in the bathroom, guys.

Hour Nineteen: Kim gets caught in the middle of a few guys who have no money for drug dealers, and drug dealers who have badges instead of drugs. Seriously... where is Milo gone to?

Hour Twenty: Omfg! Victor Drazen!!!111.

Hour Twenty-One: Kim is in jail. **Update** Kim is let go. Thank god! ~~~UPDATE~~~ KIM IS CAPTURED AGAIN!!! Sad face.

Hour Twenty-Two: Did Milo jump out a window? Look... SOMEONE cares, so tell us where he is!!

Hour Twenty-Three: Tony is the mole. My GOD! *UPDATE* Mason is... THE MOLE! OMG! *SUPERUPDATEOMG* NINA YELENA MOLE!!!

Hour Twenty-Four: Jack kicks all kinds of ass in just three minutes. Life is good! Well... except for losing his wife at the end. I say he gets his revenge in Season 3.

Day Two Re-Viewing Reviewing

Hour One: Kim shares glances with an abusive husband and father. Mason doesn't shave for a while. Tony still whisper-talks. Michelle looks kinda cute. Jack cuts his own hair and shaves his Grizzly Adams beard in about five minutes. This guy... is there anything he CAN'T do?

Hour Two: Who are these Warners? Why do I have to see their dysfunctionality? Poor Kate won't even have much of a relationship with Jack after this day.

Hour Three: Explosive and deadly hour. George gets exposed to plutonium in a warehouse, thus securing the fate of the coolest 24 character behind Jack. CTU gets exploded, but they're up and running within 10 minutes of the next show. Amazing!

Hour Four: A pictorial cameo by Sarah Clarke as Nina. I'm not worthy!

Hour Five: Tony lays the interrogation smackdown on suspected terrorist Reza. See what you've done, Kate?! Nina makes her way into CTU, and Jack smells his shot for revenge. It smells like chicken.

Hour Six: Harris Yulin guest-stars on "24", but isn't credited at all for his appearances. Poor guy.

Hour Seven: "24" makes me get a little teary-eyed yet again, as George has a final conversation with his son. We'll miss you, George.

Hour Eight: Jack's plane is shot down. There were no survivors. Except for anyone in the main cast.

The person who supposedly recruited Jack (to be played by Peter Weller AKA Robocop) is making an appearance - so perhaps more about the Drazens could resurface.

You fail to mention Jack murdering someone in cold blood while wearing a hilarious expression and beard

Also:

Killing Mason was the worst 24 idea ever..he had a great end, but still he was one of the best characters and had a great rapport/interaction with Jack

great...it seems through the show that this Jack backstory has never been fully explored... it would be a great way to have an overarching Jack storyline..

also, The One thinks maybe Victor's daughter did not die in the explosion... :nerd: ;)

Hmm you know what, I never really thought of Victor's daughter that much. That could be a very interesting subplot.

Hehe. It would be wild if it's another CTU employee/main cast.

CTU really needs to update how they screen their employees.

Day Two Re-Viewing Reviewing

Hour Nine: Jack fights off some guys, saving Nina's life even when Nina killed his wife's life. Nina returns the favor by taking him hostage.

Hour Ten: Marie reveals herself as a bad girl. A very, very bad girl.

Hour Eleven: Kim and Miguel crash the cop's truck. Disater ensues.

Hour Twelve: Vincent's half-brother from "Entourage" rescues Kim from the cougar.

Hour Thirteen: Vincent's half-brother from "Entourage" pretends that the bomb went off, to get Kim into his bomb shelter. Who wouldn't?! Hey Kim... there might be some rain later, let's go to my bedroom and lock the door.

Hour Fourteen: George steps down from CTU, and the silent clock ticks for the second time for the series. "24" is the only show to make me teary-eyed several times throughout its run.

Hour Fifteen: Excellent hour, where "24" makes me teary-eyed (okay, I cried a little) with Kim and Jack's "final" conversation, then George and Jack's actual final conversation. They get me everytime.

Hour Sixteen: Kim gets herself into trouble again, this time in a hostage situation. Oh that Kim!

Day Two Re-Viewing Reviewing

Hour Seventeen: Michelle can't get no respect from that bitch from her old days, and Tony, whom she's hoping to sleep with. Eventually.

Hour Eighteen: Jack nabs a memory chip containing information that can stop a war from inside of some guy. No, not in any obvious places. The chip was surgically placed inside him near his stomach. I'm officially deeming "Cyprus audio" to be this year's "Ferragamo".

Hour Nineteen: Jack gets tortured. He dies. What will become of the remaining five hours?

Hour Twenty: Jack gets resurrected. Within the hour, he's hunting down hillbillies in possession of the memory chip. Man, Jack is so awesome.

Hour Twenty-One: Palmer is removed from his presidency, and Novick remains on Palmer's side in front of him. Behind his back, weasel Novick is on the side of Mr. Vice-Prez. Oh that Novick!
