I'm glad Tara is gone, she isn't that great. But I was pretty surprised to see Brandon in the bottom tonight after his fantastic performance last night. And Ty did a really great job tonight.

Hmm, looks like they got rid of the Monday night show for another episode of Two and a Half Men. That can't be a very good sign. Too bad, since I thought that the Monday shows were very interesting and made it different from all of the other singing shows.

In the one episode I saw of this, a week or so ago, I thought Jordis was the best.

Tonight was good. Ty blew the place apart, one of my favorite performances on the show. Deanna, Brandon, Marty and Mig were also great. I have a feeling there's going to be another double elimination with Jessica and Brandon going home. Jessica just sucks and although Brandon is my favorite, I don't think INXS thinks that his style suits the band. He seems to be more of a southern rocker. Really hope he pulls through though.
At the moment, I'd say it's down to Marty, Mig and Jordis for who's going to win.

I didn't watch it last night (going to tonight), but Brandon's gone! He was my favorite and I loved his voice, just he wasn't right for the band. Hope he does some solo stuff or starts another band. Anyways, they need to get rid of Jessica. She does INXS songs well, but the rest she does is crap (except for last week).

Finally got around to watching it. Too bad Brandon is gone, he's really great. But he he was probably the weakest performance tonight (even though I think he's better than Jessica and Suzie on most nights). They need to get rid of Jessica. She does horribly on her chosen songs (She is awesome on the INXS ones though) and the public just doesn't seem to like her much.

Marty singing Hit Me Baby One More Time? Weirdest thing I've seen, and I didn't really like the dark tone to it. MiG was spectacular and such an emotional performance. He's got this competition locked up. Probably the best performance of the season (tied with Jordis' Man Who Sold the World, who was fantastic again tonight after last weeks slipup)

Yeah, that Baby One More Time performance was uncalled for, but Marty did his best with it. Mig was the highlight of the night and it should be him and Marty at the end. Loved the drama with J.D..

I saw this episode. I thought most of the contestants stunk pretty bad but Marty and Jordis stood out as having talent. Jordis is a good singer, probably the best singer there, but her style doesn't fit INXS's music. Marty is the second best and his style is a better fit with INXS, in my opinion. Mig was alright but was kind of bland to me, didn't stand out as bad or good.

I get the sense the powers that be on the show are pushing for Mig to win but the public is behind Jordis and Marty. That seems to happen on American Idol sometimes too.

Doesn't matter to me, since I love MiG as well. For all those that didn't see tonight's show (in Canada they show the Monday night show on a local station), MiG and Deanna will both be performing original songs while the others will be singing some rock classics like Start me Up and Proud Mary. Suzie was really upset that she didn't get to perform her original song (They pulled names out of a hat) since she believes that it could save her from the bottom 3. She even asked MiG and Deanna to give up their original song so she could sing hers.

Ouch. Jordis' performance was horrible tonight. Everyone else's was good and I really liked MiG's song. I think Deanna may be out this week.
Also, I know everyone loves Marty, but he doesn't have a shot at winning. His style is just way too different for INXS.

Odd that you'd say that. I don't think Marty is great, but his big advantage to me is that he's the one whose style is most like INXS. INXS was a hard rock band when they started, later they got popular doing romantic balads but they started out gritty.

Really? All of the songs I've heard them do are more pop-rock. Maybe Marty does have a chance then.

But you do have a point, Marty can be too heavy metalish sometimes, he needs to avoid that. INXS started out a little gritty but they weren't Metallica. I still say Jordis is the most talented and will probably win even though she had a bad week. Mig seemed better this week, his song sucked but he came across as likeable.
Man I didn't want to get into this show but it sucked me in.

Fantastic show! Jordis was back to fighting form with a fantastic performance, MiG was equally as awesome and Marty showed a completely new side of himself and I loved it. But the story of the night is Suzie. She blew the roof off that place. One of the best performances all season, maybe even THE best of the season. I didn't like her much at first, but she's really gunning for this the past 2 weeks, with 2 stellar performances and is now a serious contender to win it all.

Wow. What an amazing night of performances. I can't believe I put up with a show like Canadian Idol, when there is talent like this on Rockstar INXS. Suzie gave the best performance yet on that show and Jordis and Marty were runners-up with their fantastic renditions of Imagine and Wish You Were Here. I think Ty may leave this week.

Actually, the site with the performances is http://www.rockstar.msn.com . Some of the performances are missing (like Jordis singing Imagine) and you have to pay to download them, but you can still listen to the previews. Listening to these reminds me how much Suzie has improvedand how good Brandon was. I urge EVERYONE to watch this show, it's fantastic. Better than any Idol show.
