They ordered 2nd season, scheduled it for midseason, then cut the order from 12 to 6 episodes, then canceling it, then premiere Point Pleasant in its time period (only to see PP bomb), then show TC and get better ratings than for PP. But at that point I guess it was too late as the cast and crew moved on.

I'm glad he has been renewed. CW blossomed under his leadership. If only Dawn was never at the helm. No shitty 90210 and all other female oriented crap she was pushing and canceling great shows. Looking more and more like the show will be like Curb Your Enthusiasm and Louie and on the shelf indefinitely unless Nic P. decides one day to do another season

Nic Pizzolatto can return to it when he wishes rather than being on a strict schedule, and I believe the brand name is still hot enough for it to draw a huge amount of attention when he does so.

I expected one more season of Castle, but this one will be half-assed.

The same can't be said for CSI Cyber as CBS has now cancelled it after only 2 seasons. #ByeFelicia
