The George storyline finally came to an end. I wish Bree had let him die in a more...satisfying...way, though. You know the old Bree from the first season totally would have (remember her in the hospital with Rex when she found out he cheated on her?)
Maybe Susan's father storyline will be more interesting in coming weeks.
Sayonara, Bossy Boobs.
That nun seems like a robot.
Edie made an appearence!
The show needs to bring Harriet Sansom Harris back, for sure.

Well... I'm definatly relieved George is gone! Whew.
I liked tonight's episode. Still weak, though.

This episode felt like it was from Season 1. Not one of the better episodes from Season, but nonetheless, from Season 1.
I agree Bree was more "Bree" in Season 1 but her taking out the shotgun in the beginning was great. I hope we see more of her grieving; they better not have just finished it off like that. I'd like to see her deal with it for the rest of the season. Nice to see her son coming back!
At first Lynette's storyline, I thought, was just another in the many Lynette-work-related problems. But nwo that I look at it, I'm hoping this puts a new twist on her storyline.
Gabrielle's story thread looks to at least an intriguing arc with the nun. I can't see how they can go without giving her an emmy nod this year.
Looks like they're giving Susan an actual break from Mike! Her dad's story look a bit interesting (he's from Once and Again, YAYYYY!)
Isn't it odd how all 4 womens' new story-arcs have taken some brand new turns not even before mid-season? Are they really running that low on creativity? And Betty wasn't in this peisode either; not helping with incorporating her storyline into this season, just making her more unwelcome and her story-arc more inferior adding to the disfunctionality of Season 2!
And I can't help but think that the George storyline was pre-empted because of pressure.
I think next week and the horizon for the immediate future of Housewives looks bright; and I hope I'm right!

Better than the previous entries, and there's potential for improvement in future episodes.
I guess Joely Fisher is about to pop so she had to exit.
Looking forward for more of the nun. I hope scenes with her and Gabrielle turn out to be a hoot.

I think they disposed alot of Season 1 plotlines too quickly and are seeing the side-affects now!
I'm in the club: Bring back Harris!!

What a cop-out. I thought he was gonna have one final psycho act, like, mess up Bree's hair or something.

YAY
My favorite as well. I had to abbreviate the sig since the whole passage took up a couple of paragraphs.

Well who knows. Marc Cherry said that he killed off Rex because Rex and Bree are based on his parents and his father died in real life. So maybe in real life Cherry's pharmacist overdosed. They should marry off Mike and Susan asap, they can have all the drama leading up to a wedding, a finale wedding, then bizarre marital troubles next season as a plot. But it looks like they are trying to turn them into Ross and Rachel. Maybe Susan will write Mike an 11 page letter and Mike will fall asleep reading it.

FINALLY got caught up today on the last three shows. I don't know... I'm coming around to the show a bit more now. I really didn't like the first few episodes, but I'm liking it again. The only downside was that I watched "The View" today and Roger Bart was on there saying he was officially dead. I'm like... what?
I didn't even see the previews, so I had no idea something was supposed to happen. I don't think I would have known he was really dead if I didn't see it on "The View" today. Didn't seem all that final. Oh well.
The Applewhites are still what is wrong with the show. They don't even really interact with everyone else. It's like they were dropped off and we're left looking after them. But, are we supposed to care? I sure don't. What a waste.

I have to ask... what's with death and Desperate Housewives? Mrs. Huber, Mrs. Solis, Rex, Gabrielle's miscarriage, and now George. Do they need a death every few episodes to spice things up? Sometimes, it seems Housewives lives off of death and parents (Mrs. Solis; Rex's mom; Susan's mom and now her long-lost dad; etc etc etc.). That should be the show's motto: The two things guaranteed on "Desperate Housewives" are 'Death and Parents'.
Where is Harriet Sansom Harris? How about Paul and Zack? Richard Burgi is barely in the show, but he's listed in the opening credits? Nicollette Sheridan is the most underused character in television. Sometimes, I frown upon relying on supporting characters. But many of them add more to this show than the main characters sometimes.

And don't forget the two deaths that jump-started the series: MAry-Alice and Deirdra, coincidentally (or not) two deaths that resulted from issues concerning parenting!
But if we look only at the deaths of characters that were alive when the series started....
2 of them were nosy housewives
and 2 of them were men with romantic entanglements with Bree

Is Richard Burgi next then?

Hmm so I guess since George is gone, the next person plotting something against her is her evil gay son.

I hate the evil gay son.
He impedes the show's plot development and honestly, if Bree meets her end because of that little twerp, I'll be pissed.

Seriously.
Could they make him anymore bitter and evil? Sheesh...
Though at least they brought him and Ryan Carnes together again.
But still.. just a waste of storyline.
