A decent episode but not one of my favorites. I don't care much about Foreman, Chase and Cameron, and I prefer episodes where they don't get a lot of screentime. House, Wilson and Cuddy are the only ones I find interesting, the subordinates are pretty humorless and dull.

Yes. What the heck happened?! Now everyone watches and discusses!
Solid episode. I think the appeal of the show is House and the rest of the cast. Sure, people love their "mystery of the week" shows, but "House" is a lot more than that.
And obviously, you have to see what House is going to say this week. 24 million people need to know!

Oh man. Now it's going to do its worst ratings ever, just because you want to predict.

A reminder to those who don't know, the second part comes on TONIGHT at 8pm eastern US. Dunno when it comes on Canadian time.

I agree wholeheartedly (although I did enjoy the episode more than you).

After Foreman pricked Cameron, and she went back into the guy's home and she came out and House was there, he said everything to her that I had been thinking.
On a side note, I couldn't figure why I didn't have a little graphic for the quote and report buttons. Then I remembered I had to block all images originating from world of kj because Snrub is posting pictures of fat naked men in the blog testing.

House to Cuddy:
"Oh are you upset I'm doing clinic hours? That's so like rain on your wedding day."

Good conclusion although it is only a misstep by Foreman and Cameron that kept them from finding the solution earlier with the water.

"Ooh level 3. You should call Jack Bauer." There were a lot of funny lines in the first 20 minutes.
I dunno though, I didn't really buy into the emotional drama of it because I never considered it possible that he might die. But still it was pretty good. I'm glad they finally had a patient die (the cop). But they kept up their streak of the solution being the patient was being deceitful (in this case stealing water).
I was pretty impressed with this 2 parter, more than I may have sounded like I was. And I agree with who said above that it does make you wonder how they can top it in a finale.

Right on dawg, seriously after watching House I'm likely to give my doctor to much information, thinking if I leave anything out I will die.
Ron Livingston (African doctor with TB) is the only patient I can think of who was not sick because of lying, though I can barely remebr the detials of that episode.
I liked this episode, especially since I am a big fan of Charles S. Dutton, and in the previews I didn't think they would kill Foreman but there were a few points during the episode when I thought the might kill him. I will say I am glad he is not just perfectly cured, it will be interesting to see how they deal with Foreman's new medical problem.

Great episode. I liked the nod to 24. Quite dramatic, but still funny at times. And the cop didn't actually lie to them, he died before he could. But he was still being deceitful.
Another cliff-hanger, though? What's with that?

Im not sure how much of a cliffhanger it is. Foreman will just have to get used to his brain thinking right is left and left is right.

What about that one with the politician? I thought I remembered the ending of that show being "shocking" because he wasnt lying.
Oh, and I completely agree about Charles S. Dutton. Back when I used to watch Without a Trace, his two episodes were two of the best. I was glad to see him on House.

Dutton and I go way back, I watched Roc, his tv show on FOX, back when the only thing people watched on FOX was the Simpsons.
Good call on the politician, you're right I vaguely remember he wasn;t lying either, though that's still 2 patients out of like 50.

That be bloody hard to get used to in real life.

I'm still thinking about how agonizing was the slow death of the cop from Tuesday.

With all the conflict between Cameron and Foreman, what of the three younger doctors do you like the least? Cameron, Foreman and Chase for that matter, have all done things or acted in such a way that it would be easy to not like them.

Cameron, mostly because of her crush on House storyline, I much prefer assholishness to that sad storyline.
While Chase is an asshole, I liked the storyline with his Dad, and Foreman, well he just doesn't irritate me the way Cameron does.

I like Chase the least, especially after that storyline in season one where it was revealed that he was the 'mole', as it were. He ass-kisses a lot and whines even more. He doesn't seem to have his own character.

I like Chase the least, he made that deal with Volger so that he was unfirable. If I was House I'd have fired Chase the first moment I could after Volger was gone. Cameron can be annoying and sickly sweet and her relationship with House in season 1 was kind of creepy to me, not because of the age difference, more because the relationship seemed to be entirely in her head.
But on a different note, I think Wilson has become more important to this series, he really has developed. I'd even go so far as to say that Wilson is the most believable doctor on TV right now, including Grey's Anatomy, he has that laid back quiet confidence that real doctors often have.

There's also the one with the patient with rabies. She was too crazy to be deceitful!

Cameron is way too touchy feely.
I loved that part in the episode where House is teaching a class, and in his flashback she goes through the entire history of the patient to come to the conclusion that she may be depressed.
I really disliked Chase during the whole Volger situation (which I really didnt like as a whole, and am glad it ended quickly), but if I ignored those episodes, which Im inclinded to do, I'd have to go with Cameron as my least favorite.
