Seasons 5 and 10 were so boring because it was a foregone conclusion since the start that Taylor and Scotty would win their respective seasons.
Say what you want this season, but I think it really is anyone's win right now. I thought P2 winning was inevitable, but now, not so much. It's coming down to song choices and performances right now.

I enjoy all three finalists here. They each have their own unique style and sound. I think all will be more than successful. I hate to think of another white guy with a guitar winning but I actually wouldn't mind any of these singers as the AI champion.

Really?! Thats somewhat surprising... ah well, it was anyones game but im totally pissed Joshua got the boot. I Sooo wanted a Jessica vs Joshua showdown. Still one of the best top 2 ever for AI
Joshua just owned his farewell performance. He has very good stage presence and he pulled off that all black outfit very well.
I think it's anyone's game currently though Jessica has already been booted once she's probably going to come up short. Maybe if Ledet's voters swung her way it would tip the scales.
One thing I'd love to see would be the vote breakdown by state or which contestant won what state w/o the vote totals. That'd be an interesting look at things. Maybe Phillip is winning the North, Midwest and Jessica taking some Western states and the SW and Josh had some Southern states. That'd be cool to know.

I think Phillip Phillips will win though. He's never been in the bottom 3 and he has all the girls voting for him, but he's a worthy champion over Lee Dewyse and a lesser extent Scotty.
I think he and Jessica will get a great start in the music world but I can really see Phillips being around for a long time.

I watched my first episode of this all season last night while waiting for the "Glee" finale (I haven't followed the show really since Paula left after season 8, aside from Simon's farewell episode and the premiere of the J.Lo/Steven Tyler judging cycle) and man has this show gone downhill. Both of the top two are beyond lame and all three of the songs they sang sounded identical.

Phillip Phillip's' "Home" is shockingly good for an Idol coronation song, I must say. I know it's basically Mumford & Sons-lite, but this is the same show that has foisted horrors like No Boundaries on the public.
