TR Knight came out

Personally, George is so asexual that I never even thought about whether Knight is gay or straight, but it's not a shock.

So true.

(Oh TR Knight vamped it up as a Tony award presenter last summer, yeah, I know, shocking)

You liked last week? What was there to like about it other than Meredith high? And tonight was horrible. Though McSteamy and Addison in bed at the end made me happy.

So, I think I'm really gonna try and throw in the towel for this show.

tonight wasn't the best. it kinds was an out there episode and cheesy at times.

but last week's episode should still leave some hope that some good tv is still left in this puppy. just gotta get through the crappy episodes now and then..

But I can't stand the show anymore. All the things that make Grey what it is and what makes people love it (I guess) are all the things I can't stand.

I can't stand that repeating thing they do. It is SOOOOO annoying... where they just keep repeating what they said in a slightly different tone.

And I don't think you guys want another person complaining in this forum, do you? ;)

I still *kind of* watch the show.

And was that Faith Prince?

Yeah, apparently Grey's is the new dumping ground for out-of-work cable actors.

Justina Machado (Vanessa) from Six Feet Under on this week. And Tina Holmes (Maggie) on last week.

And then Faith Prince from Huff on this week, and the girl who played Maggie, Russell's assistant, apparently on next week.

Faith Prince was the one stuck on her ex-husband.

As for tonight's episode...

I agree. A little weak. About on par with the premiere, I'd say.

Wow, they really are going to fire Isaiah from the show...I wonder what effect this will have on the ratings, because he has quite a following.

They are thinking of recasting him, and have met with Bill Bellamy (Fastlane), Boris Kodjoe (Soul Food) and Eriq LaSalle (E.R.). I think Eriq LaSalle could be interesting, as he was on ER.

His actions divided the set, and execs thought he needed to be recast to restore harmony.

Not saying that it's not true, but I think it's just speculation at this point.

Wow. That's insane. But I hope they don't recast the part. I mean, hasn't the tv audience grown past being able to believe that sort of thing?

In Touch, National Enquirer pretty much. So it still isn't 100%, but I mean, all signs seem to be pointing that way...

The Enquirer DID break the story about the fight between Isaiah and Dempsey, so maybe their source is reliable, but the coincidence of Knight's announcement, makes it seem like they were prepping for a Isaiah free Grey's Anatomy...

Kristin & Ausiello also confirmed the fight on the set and one of the two of them said the same thing about him being recast.

Wow. I can't help wondering who was on which side, if it's a "divided" set.

I think recasting would be a wrong way to go. They'd be better off writing him out of the show and getting someone else. I hear Michelle Rodriguez needs a job.

OK that is silly but the guy who played Michael on Lost might be good, I could see him playing a doctor.

At this point, it would be easy enough to write him out. Let his arm not get better. He'll get depressed and disappear.

Let him operate with his bad arm, get caught, get fired.

If he really hurled such a remark as they're claiming (calling T.R. Knight a faggot), I would imagine everyone was just against him. I mean, who would really side with him in something like that? Especially since reports are claiming it elevated to him grabbing Patrick Dempsey by the throat and shoving him a few feet.

Anyone know the name of the song that was at the end of the first hour.

I think I experienced Grey's withdrawl tonight, reruns aren't cutting it for me.

They should just fire him and use an extra in an episode having him die in some horrific accident. Would lead to a nice story arc.

I finally caved in and tried this show for the first time tonight.

My biggest issue I guess is that the characters seem... average? We get it, there's the kind of dick doctor, the pretty doctors that don't like each other, the sort of loser doctor, and they all sleep and cheat on each other... but they just don't seem like anything special or memorable. None of them have any factors that place them above characters on any average soap opera, from what I've seen so far. It's mostly exactly what you'd expect from a show like this, and nothing more. Big fat meh. And the drama, again the cheating, pregnancies, triangles, etc... way too forced, it's like they're winking the whole time at how tangled everything is.
