I felt a much better connection with this episode than last week's; the suspense really had me on the edge of my seat.
And Wilson? WOW. Now, there's some interesting new developments!
Thomas Dekker was great as Boyd; I think he's rather cute (but won't say more due to my being nearly 21 and he only 15, LOL). And he's such a great actor; he's really come far since Honey I Shrunk the Kids TV Show and his guest role on Touched By An Angel (ironically playing Satan).
Can't wait for next week; two nights of new House in a row! Whee!

LOL! He played 15 on the show, but the actor is 18.
I'm surprised they haven't really hyped the finale that much, which is good since I don't want this show to go the ER route ("On a very special, powerful and memorable episode of House....")
24.51 million for last night's episode.

Really, they've not shown anything of the finale at all yet. All we know so far is from leaked sides and the recent Fox press release that outlines all the upcoming episodes. But from everything I've heard and read... it's gonna be GREAT! Quote: 24.51 million for last night's episode.
Is that another high for it, or close? I can't remember numbers from week to week... I'm horrible with memorizing numbers.
Soon enough House may overtake AI... maybe for the season finale; the material definitely gives it potential.

Yes it's a season-high.... yet.
I predicted the finale to get at least 25 million, but this one came close so the finale could get more than 25.

Isn't House approaching CSI territory in the ratings?
Impressive, indeed.

House is a great show. End of story!
It's like... the only show I consistently watch now. Other than Daily Show and Colbert Report.
I missed 2 episodes of Lost this year already! None of House!

House beat a new episode of CSI that aired three weeks ago (that CSI got like a 16.0 rating, with a 7.3 rating in adults 18-49, as well as 22.9 million viewers). I guess the real comparison comes this week, with House and CSI airing new episodes (as well as Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives).

A little trivia note, I read where the creator of House said he was inspired by the author of this book

You make some bad predictions, but this prediction is actually quite good. I agree!

OK...was totally not expecting Foreman to *prick* Cameron with whatever disease he seems to have. Yikes.
Guess they definitely won't be friends now.

Dynamic episode. A patient actually died for once which has never happened before, I believe. I'm glad they're airing the conclusion tomorrow. Waiting a week would be a pain. Also, isn't that Charles S. Dutton playing Foreman's father?

I believe it has happened at least 3 times.
Kid with radiation poisoning... Some guy's wife, I forget the problem with her, and a patient with Rabies.

IS one of them the lady that died because of Chase or something?

Oh, season-to-date, House has now passed Lost in average viewers. (16 million to 15 million I think). The gap will be further if House continues to have 22-23 million.

No, but that may be another, though I can't wrap my finger around the particulars of the episode you are referring to.

Don't remember those. It always seems like they save the people just in the nick of time. As for watching it, I've been watching it since the very first episode when it premiered mid-season. I'm suprised that it has become such a huge hit considering it still is a formula show. Without Hugh Laurie, it would never have lasted past its first half-season. He's the only thing really that makes it different than other procedurals. If the show stays popular I could see him getting paid 20 million per season. You can't have a show called "House" without the main character, after all.

I agree, he's spectacular and if it wasnt for the title character, I would not be watching this show.

I view the show as basically a comedy-drama, where half the interest is just seeing what is going to come out of House's mouth.

Great episode. Best of the season, I'd say. Quite dramatic with some very funny parts. When they broke the MRI machine? I could not stop laughing. Hilarious.
If Hugh Laurie doesn't win an Emmy this year, I'd say the voters are on crack.

I love how the corpse went Dawn of the Dead on us before the MRI machine broke.
