No. Fox is airing last night's episode (or, next week's episode now) and the episode that was supposed to be on next week originally back-to-back from 8-10.

Oh. Really? I thought they just pushed the episodes back a week.

Does anybody know what the deal with Lucas and this show is? They also got the free advertising when the Sith trailer appeared on TV for the first time. Is he friends with the show's creator?

Maybe he likes the show because there's a producer called Loucas George?

Tonight:

THE OC

WOW! These two episodes were some of the most dramatic of the season. Trey tried to rape Marissa in a surprising sequence that was extremely disturbing and creepy. I really hate him more than I ever did before now and he makes me sick. That's just such a horrible thing to do and I can feel absolutely no sympathy for him after that. And Kirsten got in a car accident that basically totaled her car and I realized that in my accident I was much more fortunate. For a while I was really worried she was the main character that was rumored to die, but then they showed her in next week's previews so we all know she is all right. Caleb is a bastard and was once again here but he's going to die at the end of the season so no worries there. And the Seth/Zack rivalry was one of the show's more humorous spots. And I loved the MILLION DOLLAR BABY reference :P Still though, the rape scene was extremely effective and now I really feel bad for Marissa and hate Trey with a passion.

Absolutely amazing episodes! The first one was deffinetely the best of the two episodes, it was really effective. I was so surprised that Trey tried to rape Marissa. I thought she'd find coke or something that was on him but I didn't expect that to happen. I was really worried he'd "really" do something, it's a good thing she saw that rock, who knows what would have happened to her. The second episode was good but it wasn't amazing. The ending left me shocked, I was really worried she was going to die, so then season three wouldn't have a mom (sort of like BUFFY) but it's obvious she won't die. Great episodes!

Great episodes. Trey trying to rape Marissa was scary. Kirsten getting hit by that truck was the most terrifying moment last night. I thought she was dead.

I did too! Especially since there are all these rumors circulating that someone is going to die at the end of the season! I was so worried! But then they showed next week's preview and she was fine :)

those were the best two episodes of the season. I am so glad that the last 3/4 of the season is like last season. Its not just stupid drama with lindsey and rebecca. Those were great.
As much as i am glad that Kjirsten is Alive they should not have had her in the preview, now people wont be desperatly anticipating next weeks episode.

Caleb is dead. Julie was going to kill him, but she didn't and then he had a heart attack and fell in the pool. Summer and Seth are together for sure. George Lucas was on screen for about a minute. Next week's season finale looks shocking. I believe Marissa is shot and there will be Caleb's funeral. and Theresa returned tonight with short screen time.

Caleb died. Also, Marissa is getting shot in the finale according to the previews.

The previews are always terribly misleading, I doubt Marissa will get shot. Even if she does, it won't be a serious injury.

It' probably going to happen in the last 5 minutes like all there "big" parts of the episodes do like the Marissa/Alex kiss.

Last night's episode wasn't so great. It was okay but wasn't as good as the last few episodes. This is overall a better season than season one though. I was happy when Julie was going to kill Caleb but then when he had a heart attack, I got kind of sad. I was happy when Julie was going to kill him because she was finally doing something to him but then when he had a heart attack, you saw how much she loved him. Next week's episode looks alright, it better be good!!

That was, for once, an amazing episode.

I don't know whether it was seeing old characters like Jimmy and Hailey again, or the fact that Seth's storyline wasn't so self-absorbed and annoying like they've been this season (go away forever, Zach), or the great ending, but...

Tonight's episode was near how good The O.C. used to be during its first season. If it can continue this and climb out of that sophomore slump, it may be appointment television once again.

That was a great episode of the OC. The intervention was really emotional and the last scene shocked me. It's great to see Jimmy and Haley( ) back on the show and I hope they stick around for next season.

Not likely, considering Amanda Righetti is one of the stars of Fox's pilot Reunion next season, which is airing following The O.C. on Thursdays.

Guess I'm the only one that didn't love this episode or maybe it was because I watched it at 1AM and I was really tired. I loved the ending and how emotional it was. It wasn't as great as many of the other episodes this season but it was good. Bring on season 3!!

I don't know about anyone else, but I wish Kelly Rowan would get Emmy consideration. She has been simply awesome as Kirsten this season, especially in the last few episodes.

If anyone were to get Emmy consideration on the OC it would be Peter Gallagher, long before anyone else. They try to make it seem as though Ryan is the focal point of the show, but it is Sandy that is the heart and soul for me.

Anyone else surprised by the age difference of Ryan and Marissa when they were dating last season? Real life I mean?

She was 17 and he was 26. She was the only show character who plays her real age. Everyone else is years older.

No way Peter G. and Kelly Rowan are the same age like the show tries to pretend. They have to be many years apart.

I never saw this season yet, so I know nothing about the new characters or lack of.

The Marissa/Alex kiss was stupid in my opinion. There was no point to it because I knew it would never happen in the show for long even if it did.
